This was our second stay and it was every bit as good as the first. Maureen and Mark are so welcoming. The room we had is very comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious, with plenty of choice. And the garden is lovely.

Maureen welcomed us into their home in this beautiful village. The Cottage is quiet, clean, comfortable, NOT CHINTZY and very welcoming. It has a good reputation and its easy to see why as Maureen delivers an unassuming but great service. Thank you

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, set in a quiet and beautiful location. The accommodation was clean and the food was very good. It is close to local amenities and two pubs that are worth a visit. We had an enjoyable and pleasant stay. Maureen was very accommodating and could not do enough to help. Thank you.

Great accommodation, with a warm and personal welcome, topped by excellent breakfast choices. A South facing sunny conservatory was used as the breakfast room and overlooks the beautifully set out garden. The Cottage is set in lovely countryside with many good walks Highly recommended

Located within a few minutes' walk of the picture-postcard village of Sutton Poyntz, The Cottage is an ideal choice for those wanting a peaceful retreat. Staying just one night, our room was spacious and beautifully furnished with views out over a pretty garden and rolling hillside. The bed was comfortable and a tasty full-English breakfast set us up perfectly for...

Many thanks for your review. We are pleased that you liked your room and breakfast in the conservatory. I was a bit confused by you comments regarding check in as you asked to check in at 12.00 and we had the room ready for your arrival at that time. Again check out is at your leisure and no mention was...

Our hosts Maureen and Mark could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The cottage is tastefully furnished and very comfortable with a lovely garden. The village is a short walk from the cottage with a very good pub and restaurant. There is also a public bus service into Weymouth. THANKYOU Maureen and Mark for an unforgettable but too short...

We stayed at The Cottage for 4 nights and very much enjoyed this lovely B&B. An idyllic place at the edge of the village surrounded by a beautiful garden with breakfast being served at the outside terrace. Our bedroom which we shared among the three of us was comfortable and very cosy. In the evening and morning hours we listened...

We booked a double room with shared bathroom for two evenings, the description of the property stated quite categorically that all rooms had a shower, they did not. This was a problem for us and on arrival we made this clear, the owner stated the room was as booked when clearly it was not. The two night stay we had...

I am sorry that you did enjoy you stay with us as much as our guest normally do. I am still at loss to your confusion regarding your booking. You booked a room with shared bathroom on booking.com which was confirmed as such by them and also by ourselves. We have been running our popular B&B for 12 years and...

My wife Shelley and I really enjoyed our stay. The Cottage is in a nice quiet area, is very clean and our hosts Maureen and Mark were absolutely fabulous. They helped us with advise about the surrounding area and tourist attractions. The breakfasts were absolutely stunning - I fell in love with the sausages and my wife the home made...

Many thanks for all your kind comments. We are always grateful when customers take the time and trouble to write a review of their stay with us. I highly recommend staying at The Cottage with Maureen and Malcolm. I booked very last minute for 2 nights having trawled the streets of Weymouth anxiously surveying the B&B’s on offer. I returned to my car slightly disheartened and decided to look a bit further afield for somewhere quieter to rest my legs and use as a base for exploring...
