Warm Friendly Welcome always. Dog friendly, family friendly. You always get a decent pint and I have been informed by residents that the accommodation is very good too. I regularly visit this boozer and enjoy it every time.

Annexed room to the rear of the pub was nice & clean, though we had to ask for clean hand towels as there was only one left in the bathroom when we arrived and that was dirty. Though the woman in the bar was apologetic, we got 2 clean handtowels for 4 of us. Breakfast was in the bar area... More

I've just come back from a weekend away with 3 friends...Our 2nd time of staying at the Royal Oak. Jane and her team again gave us a fantastic welcome and looked after us really well. The pub itself doesn't ooze curb appeal but once inside it's a nice old boozer and the courtyard at the back which is where you... More

Clean comfy spacious rooms and lovely freshly cooked breakfast each morning. Small carpark for 4 but we managed to get a space on our first day and stayed there the whole 3 days. There was always a space as others seems to drive out for the day. It was a 15 -20 minute walk into Weymouth either along the main... More

Firstly don't fall into the trap that we did, there are two Royal Oaks in Weymouth. One is a old Georgian quayside CAMRA rated pub, but this one is a little out of town in a more residential area. Its located in a row of shops on a busy road neighboured by a Tesco Express and Launderette and a Kebab... More

Warm welcome, clean accommodation, friendly staff who allowed us to bring takeaway food to secluded patio and offered cutlery and condiments. Will stay again when in Weymouth and will recommend to anyone looking for well priced, clean and casual place to stay.

This is a working pub with rooms above the bars and 4 units outside in the beer garden and car park. We were in number 4 which faces directly onto the car park which holds about 4 cars. Our room was a family room with a double bed and bunk beds sleeping 4 although there was only 2 of us.... More

Needed somewhere at short notice and stumbled across this one, at £70 per night, I wasn't very impressed, with shared WC facilities, and separate shower room after paying that amount. But there was nice clean sheets and the choice of either BBC 1 or BBC 2 only which was interesting. However, the staff were friendly and helpful and had a... More

Stayed here for four nights with my husband and eight year old son. We booked a family room and were not disappointed, the room was airy and very clean and far enough away from the pub that we couldn't hear a thing. We didn't try breakfast as preferred to go out early and try other places. Would definitely recommend staying... More
