We had a throughly enjoyable stay at the Swallows Rest B&B. The room was spacious and very clean, we couldn't have asked for more. On arrival Jane & Keith welcomed us with fresh tea & coffee with homemade cake. The breakfast was first class with lots of lovely choices - a home from home. So much so, that we've already...

Stayed for 2 nights. Cleanliness 5* Beautiful homely surroundings. Breakfast was fantastic, good free range eggs (from their hens) and served on pretty china, tea in a good size China tea pot. The host bakes and leaves tasty cakes in the room every day. There was no skimping on tea/coffee etc in rooms, also local bottled water was left. If...

Well, we're so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Swallows Rest. We aim to give our guests the best possible stay we can. Today I've baked Apple Cake for our guests and the whole house smells of cinnamon. This week pet pigs George & Mildred are out and about in the garden and have moved into their summer house by...

Spent our first official weekend away at Swallows Rest. Upon arrival I thought this was my biggest mistake yet in choosing accommodation being a very fussy person. It goes without saying, never judge a book by it's cover. On entering the building quickly had to apologies to my partner. Needless to say that the weekend will go down as a...

A really great B&B with views to Chesil Beach. More comfort here than some hotels! Beautiful big sitting room with a TV and magazines. Large garden to wander and sit. Although you share it with some unusual species of ducks, chickens, geese etc which run loose. I found them great fun to watch. Delightful hosts and exceptional breakfast. When I...

Thank you so much for that excellent review. We thoroughly enjoyed having you stay with us here at the farm. I do spend lots of time baking cakes in the Aga but I also see the various pets in the garden from the kitchen windows to keep me interested! Hopefully we'll see you here again one day. We booked up a double bedroom in the house. Arrived later than intended as we were at our daughter's post wedding family party at the Al Molo Italian restaurant in Weymouth. As we were late we were given the two bedroom bungalow. No grumbles from us and OH snores loudly so peace for me. The bungalow is less than a...
