Guest houses are guest houses, aren't they? They tend to be tall terraced buildings, with slightly faded furniture and worn out wonky fittings. The breakfast is predictable and forgettable. Then try No 98. You'll get a warm welcome and be surprised by the quality fo what's on offer. Our room was nice - nothing exceptional, but the bed was comfortable... More

My husband and I visited this wonderful b&b for a family 60th birthday celebration. I cannot fault this hotel - lovely clean rooms all tastefully decorated, welcoming service and delicious and varied breakfast options. We were in the sea view room at the front of the hotel, first floor. Can't remember the room number but we had an unbeatable view... More

Hello Thanks so much for your review and we're very happy you enjoyed your stay. I know the stairs are tricky sometimes as there are a lot to the top, but the view is the best in the building! Yes currently we are not allowed to install any form of double or secondary glazing which would help greatly in the... More

We stayed for two nights recently on a Travelzoo deal & in terms of value for money this was good. However, it was an odd reception in that there is no reception (so not a hotel in my view) and we were greeted by one of the staff in the midst of cleaning. The parking recommended is at a car... Hello Thank you for taking the time to review us. We call ourselves a Boutique Hotel, as we feel we certainly offer more than most in Weymouth. But you're right, we do not as yet, have a reception although there is one planned (we are awaiting planning permission actually). Having said that we do try and greet our guests when... More

We recently visited for 2 nights 4th & 5th Nov, and must say this very good hotel, a great central location, along with very good and friendly customer service. Our room (number 6) was very spacious and comfortable with fantastic sea views. In the morning breakfast came with lots of choice and was very filling. We will be looking to... More

My wife and I recently stayed here for two nights and it’s probably one of the nicest small boutique hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food (breakfasts and afternoon tea) were really lovely and our room was clean, well appointed, had a good shower, comfortable, and nice and quiet. We stayed in room... More

We visited with a travelzoo deal, and were not disappointed. The staff are so kind and helpful- and when we asked for somethings to be fixed they were- at amazing speed. This place is a little gem- tastefully decorated and relaxing, with warm service. The high tea was amazing and was taken in the relaxing lounge. We stayed in room... More

We stayed here for 2 night's with wonderful weather. Our room was very clean with nice extras like sherry, kit Kats, and a fan which was very much needed. With a bed that was very comfy. Our room was on the front so a great view of the sea and fair, we did find it a little noisy and light... More

We have just returned after a 2 night stay. What a lovely place, brilliantly situated, the hotel is nicely decorated throughout with comfy furniture and a very welcoming atmosphere. Our room (8) on the top floor, it was lovely, superb views over the bay, lovely personal touches, toiletries, soft fluffy towels and flannels, decanter sherry, bottled water and choc bars.... More
