Went on a 2 night break with our kids and grandkids . The family room was amazing with mezzanine floor for kids with their beds and own television . Our room was lovely with a partial lake view . The swimming pool and spa was fantastic, the best we've been in, with a great bar where they let us have...

We were staying at the nearby Cranleigh and has use of the spa facilities. It was easter weekend. And raining! We had lunch at the bar area adjacent to the spa, which was fine, but high prices for the quality of the food, and the waiting staff appeared to be high school kids on holidays. (Giggling and uninterested). Pool area...

We stayed at this hotel for a last minute relaxing break. The hotel was so lovely we ended up booking a second night. For the first night,we stayed in a Snug room which was beautifully decorated. The second night we had a double standard room, which wasnt as modern but still really comfortable and definitely room with a fab view. Hotel...

This hotel is truly wonderful. Loved absolutely everything about it and such friendly staff. Can't wait to go again. Very soon. It is in an ideal situation and within walking distance of the main attractions. Set in beautiful grounds and such tasteful design interior too. Extremely clean and comfortable too.

Spent four nights at Burnside Hotel in April. The hotel and grounds are very well presented and the room was extremely comfortable and very clean. A nice, soft king size bed made for a great, comfortable nights sleep. The en suite bathroom was large enough and had a great shower which lured you in to staying in there that bit...

One night stay while passing thru the Lake District. They are about to refurbish the place so it's a bit outdated at the moment, but comfortable beds, clean rooms and a short walk to restaurants so we were very happy here. Didn't get to try out the spa as we arrived late after spending the day at Brockhole visitors centre....

We stayed at the Burnside hotel early March 2016 and were extremely disappointed with our experience. First of all I would like to point out that when I booked the room with the hot tub I made sure that the girl I booked it with knew it was for an engagement. I didn’t expect anything complimentary in any way at...

Stayed here for two nights with another couple and our two Mini Schnauzers. The hotel is located up a hill approx 5 mins walk from Lake Windermere, great location and free parking! The hotel room itself was nothing special but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The lounge areas were lovely with comfy sofas and the staff were...
