Excellent location for everything that Bowness has to offer. Very clean B&B with helpful staff. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Asked for peel plum tomatoes with my breakfast and was duly obliged.

Lovely, warm and welcoming place. I simply loved the four poster bed and the breakfast which you get to choose from the day before. Another advantage was the locality as it's only a mere 5 minutes from Lake Windermere.

Spent a 2 night break here in early September and were very pleased with this quaint accommodation that is in a very central location. Breakfast was excellent both mornings served by a very pleasant host. Complimentery biscuits and sherry in lounge area, is a nice touch. Would recommend and would definitely return.

Lovely warm welcome on arrival with some extremely tasty home made treats that were very much appreciated. Very comfy bed & delicious breakfast. Room 1 overlooks the pub car park but was still very quiet even with the windows open. Loved this little B&B & will certainly book again.

The room had a smell of damp from the shower and was in need of decorating, the wall paper was starting to come off the walls. Very noisy on a night as the room was situated right beside a busy road, had a lot of difficuilty sleeping the first night. On the plus side the breakfast was really good and...
