We booked dinner, bed and breakfast deal for Valentines Day for 3, including our 15 year old daughter. Cannot fault the overall service, food - both dinner and breakfast, the size of the room and the location of the hotel being right in front of Lake Windermere. The pool was a bit symbolic and basic, and there are couple of...

Hotel has been refurbished and is unrecognisable. Beautiful decor, fabulous food, friendly staff.. Just a short walk into Bowness. Views to Lake Windermere are magnificent, especially on a clear day! Try for a lake view room

We fancied a winter relaxing break and could think of nowhere better than our favourite hotel in the Lakes - Laura Ashley The Belsfield. We were lucky enough to once again book our favourite suite (Room 66) which has a huge luxury bathroom, separated from the bedroom which is fitted out with very plush fixtures and in the bedroom the...

On our way home from yet another fab weekend at The Belsfield Hotel. Stayed here numerous times, and cannot fault this hotel at all. Very friendly, helpful staff, fantastic views, lovely food, good bar, and comfortable rooms makes this our favourite hotel!

I have pictures of myself as a child standing under the sign for the Belsfield Hotel, which was the nearest I ever got to visiting it. This Sunday however, 50 years later, I had the opportunity to go inside and have Sunday lunch. We were seated at a window table in the formal dining room and although there were not...

We had a fabulous room at the Belsfield (36) over-looking the lake, four poster bed and great bathroom - recommended. The staff are great - very attentive, polite and engaging. The food was disappointing with steak served with Macaroni cheese...Sea bass served with sprouts and onions...3 massive wedges of pate (not very delicate) & malt bread with cheese. A real...

I had been promising to bring a friend to the Belsfield for some time after I had visited last year and we eventually managed it today. We opted for the two course Sunday lunch, which, at £19.95, we thought was very good value for money. I started with the white onion soup and small cheese toastie and my friend had...
