Had a wonderful stay at the Ryebeck. We were even given a free upgrade to a room overlooking Lake Windermere. The service was excellent throughout and the cooked breakfasts as good as you can get. Also had a lovely evening meal at the hotel on our final night. We will go back to the Ryebeck next time we visit the...

Another lovely stay at our favourite hotel in the Lakes. Room was lovely with a huge bathroom (room no.7), with a huge walkin shower, which we love. The room itself is on the ground floor and has a door leading out onto your own little patio with table and chairs. The bed was very comfortable too. I think this is...

We knew that the hotel would not be within walking distance of the main 'tourist' area, nor would it be within walking distance of a 'local pub' and that was fine as was no children - probably due to location / cost - which made it a lovely environment to relax in (we normally do adult only hotels abroad). The...

Only stayed the one night but it was fantastic. The staff were very attentive and always had smiles on their faces. The food was great and the deserts are unmissable! Overall, a great stay. I would definitely return.

Lovely hotel great location with very friendly staff, and have to say the breakfast was the best I've ever had in the lakes..but for £165 pound for a night the room was terrible, very small. The bed was tiny the pillows were filthy and they had no wifi. If your rich stay at this hotel if your not get something...
