Very nice hotel with a spacish room. They have a very good restaurant where we had dinner on our first night. We also had breakfast there each morning which was included in the tarrif. The hotel is located close to the town centre and the piers where the Windermere cruises leave from. The staff were good and friendly. It seemed... More

We stayed for 3 nights in the mews room. A beautiful quiet and very spacious room. We even had our own courtyard to sit outside. Everything about our stay was as wonderful as written in the reviews. From the gracious staff throughout to the excellent meals and excellent level of cleanliness. Must not forget the location. Five minutes walk to... More

Absolutely lovely few days here. The ladies at the reception were so lovely and welcoming, and the room (one of the rose garden rooms) was beautiful, as well as the view.. it was nice having a balcony whilst there was good weather! We went to their restaurant one night, and I have to say it was by far the best... More

We had our evening meal at the hotel and the food was delicious. We stayed 2 nights and it was the same menu both nights, if you stayed for longer it might become a bit repetitive. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely but was a little noisy being right by the road. Would stay... More

2 minutes walk from Lake Windermere and set in great gardens. Several individual buildings meant it was quiet with no noise from neighbours. Each unit was made up of a large room (we had 2 adults and 2 children) bathroom with lovely deep bath. Door onto balcony overlooking gardens. Didn't really know what to expect, but was presently surprised upon arrival. Staff could not have been more accommodating and provided plenty of advice on the local area.
