Enjoyed a couple of pints in this pub. Friendly staff, reasonable prices & good atmosphere. Beer garden was lovely. Blankets for your shoulders/knees, outside heaters & dogs catered for (biscuits & water!) Would definitely visit here again.

We found the place today at lunch time as we were looking for an English pub; The athmosphere was very relax , friendly and positive so we decided to stop in here. Had a lovely birthday meal for 4 of us and each meal was delicious and not to expensive I would highly recommend the sharing platter cheese board, but be warned it will feed 4 people easily! The roast lamb dinner which 2 of us had and the lasagna and the poached chicken 🍗 were all very tasty 😋

We were pleasantly surprised at the warm surroundings and the good choice of menu. The food was absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend it the food is simple and tastey and they also stock a good range of beers to accompany your meal.

Excellent food. Sunday roasts for 10 quid or a huge selection of everything else wonderful. Be prepared to wait half an hour but well worth it. The Yorkshire puds are massive. Dogs welcome and very nice staff

Went last weekend for Sunday lunch as a party of 20 plus and as it's not local for us was a little dubious about the negative reviews about the service and the "locals". What a load of rubbish! Very warm and welcoming pub, we were seated in a separate room but for 20 plus people we found it very claustrophobic...
