What a beautiful hotel Storrs Hall is! The newly refurbished reception rooms and restaurant are tasteful and very relaxing. The view over the lake is stunning also. It is perfectly located just out of the hussle and bussle of Bowness, a taxi ride is £6 into the centre. We stayed in room 2 which had just been re-vamped and the...

Having read numerous reviews on Tripadvisor my wife and I stayed at Storrs Hall to celebrate our 25th Wedding anniversary. We are very glad we did. I am afraid I can not add anything new, just to echo everything other reviewers have said. Firstly (and most importantly) the staff are brilliant, friendly, accommodating, chatty , nothing is too much of...

I visited Storrs Hall earlier today for Mothers Day afternoon tea. We were booked in for 3pm and were promptly shown to our table upon arrival after our coats were taken by a member of staff. We were seated in what I believe is the main room, which is decorated beautifully in neutrals and pale blues. We were asked what...

We stayed at Storrs Hall as it was the venue for a friend's wedding. Wow what a fabulous place! The staff were exceptional - in particular Frank who is from Kenya and appears to be always on call.
