I got a deal and only paid £75 for the night. Normally prices seem much higher, which is why I haven't stayed before. Parking does not seem to be nearby. I arrived very late, so parked on a nearby street. The room was reasonably well appointed but bloody freezing. There was an electric radiator, but someone could have come and...

Stayed here overnight on a Victorian weekend sightseeing visit to Ulverston. It is situated practically adjacent to the railway station so we could jump on a train and visit Ulverston which is only three stops away. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean and there was a supply of coffee, tea and biscuits etc. The lighting in the room was a little...

Fantastic hotel with stunning room. Very helpful staff who are extremely friendly. The restaurant was fantastic, lovely meals. Recommend the cocktails in the cocktail bar. Breakfast was also superb, would recommend for families as we had our 15month with us.

Staff very helpful and well appointed and clean rooms. Good value for Barrow. Food tasty but not gourmet. Bathroom high spec. Can be noisy on the road side. Best hotel in Barrow centre. Just across the road from the station and walking distance to the dockyard (20 mins).

I booked an executive room for myself and my partner as it was only about £20 each per night. It was worth it! I requested a bath for the room and got a beautiful large free standing bath as well as a huge walk in shower on the other side of the room. The bed was one of the best...

I booked on the hotels web site and got the best price on the web. In addition I was offered either a £5 voucher to spend in their bar or a voucher for a bottle of their house wine to collect on my departure. I opted for the bottle of wine and gained loads of brownie points with my wife...
