Just returned from our 9th vusit to bulworthy lodges. Love this park. A very welcome from the new owners liz&mark. Every thing was clean and cozy as usual. Fishing was great but you have to know how to fish that lake. Floating bread for the carp.. Plenty of lovely walks around and about. If familys are looking for some peace...

We recently spent a week in Hunters Lodge at Bulworthy Forest Lodges. The lodge was very clean on arrival and we had a lovely view over a lake. However, the experience was spoiled by the access roads. The main access road is long and is only wide enough for one car, and there were very few passing places. This made...

Just returned from a week here. The lodge was very clean and in a beautiful location. All bedrooms were a good size and the kitchen was very well equipped. The only negatives are the beds are quite uncomfortable and creaky and the oven takes forever to heat up and you need to allow twice as long for things to cook!...

Myself and daughter travelled here as a last minute after we had to rearrange our holiday destination after being misled and sold a totally unacceptable one. When we arrived at Bulworthy we were overwhelmed with how beautiful it was. The lodge we stayed in was fantastic and the location was heavenly. Rest and relaxation with a hot tub which was...

Just returned from a fabulous week staying in the Chestnut Lodge. On arrival we were greeted by the owner Liz and her team and directed to our lodge which was lovely. It was clean and fresh, the fridge was on and at a great temperature to receive our transported goodies and everything inside the lodge was very nice...there are even...

We stayed here recently. When we arrived, the lodge was impeccably clean. Everything you needed for your stay was there. From a cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine and all crockery, utensils etc. All we had to supply was our food. The surrounding forest was alive with wildlife, birds, squirrels and ducks. About twenty yards from our veranda, was a well...

After finding this absolute gem of a destination entirely by accident it can be only said that it should be likend to that of being shipwrecked waking up in a forest paradise.....(I know in Devon right?!) Okay I guess we were lucky with the weather. But in all seriousness we couldn't of been happier. Our welcome was friendly and personal...

Literally in the middle of nowhere down a dirt track. Not well signposted. An absolute gem and a lovely, welcoming owner. If your looking for a relaxing break where you can listen to the birds sing all day then this is perfect. 👍🏻 The lodge was very well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Don't take a precious...

Stayed in Hunters Lodge which was on the lakeside. Absolutely beautiful so peaceful, just birds, sheep and fish jumping in the water. Stunning walks around the area. Lodge has everything you could possibly need - very well facilitated and clean. Lovely and cosy as it was still rather chilly. Short drive to supermarket and Bideford. Can't wait to go again!

What a brilliant place for a 'get away from it all' break. We spent three nights in Chestnut lodge with our daughter and her partner. The lodge was spacious, clean and well equipped, the situation was beautiful, nestled in the forest overlooking the lakes, the only sounds were birds and water! The hot tub was fab morning and night, so...
