What a great hotel for the money. Really helpful staff and great service. Very comfortable beds with great linen and pillows. We didn't eat breakfast but it looked really nice. Costa coffee available really cheaply in the bar. Close to town centre and loads of good restaurants.

Very clean, friendly staff can see that it's been recently refurbished. Stayed in other similar accommodation but this was the quietest with no slamming room or fire doors in a morning. Leisure break to area not visited before.

Stayed here for a few weeks in three different double bed rooms. Overall my experience was relaxing and pleasant. Pros: The staff at the reception desk were always welcoming and friendly - happy to help when required. The rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean & well presented. Free parking and wifi. We regularly go to Brewers Fayre especially for their top value special food evenings. Our favourite is the Thursday Curry Evening. Great value, self-service, lots of choice. There are other meals from the Menu and other evenings offer different specialialities. Well recommended.

Easy to get to, hotel is great value for money, clean and well organised with really helpful and friendly staff. Retail outlet close by. Family pub on site. Taxis were expensive into the city but the drivers were helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Family room that I shared with daughter had to wall what seemed like miles to get to room as must have been given furthest room from reception. Double bed made but had to go ask for guest bed to be made up as didn't want to share bed with...

We were visiting an elderly relative in Newcastle and as we had a long journey we booked rooms in nearby Durham to not only get a rest before the return journey but also to make more of a weekend and explore a city we hadn't previously been to. We received a lovely welcome and booked into the hotel with ease....

The Premier Inn Durham North has been refurbished and is spotless and modern. It is ideally located for the AarnisonCentre and Durham Park and Ride if you wish to. Is it the city. It is also close to the A167 towards Chester le Street and the A1M. However, there is very little traffic noise. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

Stayed for a couple of nights over Xmas whilst visiting family. Everything I expected and standards still very good; staff are friendly and more than helpful. A particular mention is due the young lady who was responsible for attending the rooms on Xmas day. I do not know the lady's name but, she did a sterling job on her own!...
