A lovely hotel with extremely courteous and friendly staff, good facilities and lovely location. The six course meal provided each evening was very good with a good and varied menu each night. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again.

The restaurant is excellent with a good selection of food and there is a very good indoor pool. The bus service in Paignton is excellent with frequent buses. It is just a short walk from the hotel to the beach and the pier.

There is one lift and you do not have to pay to use the pool and facilities but you will have to pay for any treatments. The entertainment is varied but suitable for older older members of the Hotel The second floor rooms with sea views are best.

A friend of mine who went to the Palace stayed in one of the singles and it was absolutely fine. If you are on a coach trip they tend to give you the non-sea view rooms facing the street.
