We stayed at the Waterfront Inn for three nights during the Easter break, the staff is friendly but there is a lot of room for improvement, here's why: PROs - very good location in front of the beach - Badger, the hotel dog, is lovely - the staff is friendly and the overall atmosphere very relaxed - the hotel is...

The staff seemed confused and the food was terrible, definitely the chefs have no idea what they are doing. Waited 45 minutes for our food and we didn't even eat it. Never going back there. It used to be a great place but the new owners ruined it.

We booked here for a meal, it was very busy but the staff were very attentive. We waited a long time for our meal, only to be told it had been lost. Eventually it arrived and the only meal that was right was my husbands. The food was cold and obviously re heated. Two other tables complained, although one woman...

Visited one Friday, it was very quiet but we were made to feel welcome by both staff and regulars. Had a starter each, very nice. Ended up staying the whole night as there was a singer on who was very good but sadly there wasn't much of an audience! We enjoyed ourselves though. Been here a couple of times and...

Stayed for one night only with family and from the start of our stay we were welcomed by the staff, who were extremely helpful. The rooms were warm and clean with fabulous views out to sea. The breakfast was hearty and service superb throughout. Planning to return soon, so keep up the good work!

We stayed at the Waterfront Inn for three nights in late September. We had booked the double front facing sea view room. Fantastic view which was captivating but the room was a slight let down for these reasons: Stains on carpet, small bathroom with a very loud macerator, some dust in places, holes in the wall and not all windows...

Visited on 1st November for lunch, food great, both hubby and I opted for the lighter/smaller portion lunch, fish and chips and the 5oz steak, glad we did as could not finish our meal it was the best fish and chips I have ever had. Only down side was that the service was very slow in getting hot drinks to...

I'm unable to grade this restaurant as we didn't actually manage to eat here. We were sadly turned away. We chose the Waterfront Inn because it looked good, was on the seafront and their menu looked good too. What could go wrong? Early Friday morning (28th October - half term), having seen it the day before, we drove from Newport...

Visited Waterfron Inn for a meal with friends and it was exceptional. The staff were great and the food was spot on. There was a bit of a wait at the bar to order but to be expected when popular and busy. Surprised they don't do table service
