Stayed here for a long weekend, the owners were friendly and helpful. The rooms we had were excellent, comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and cooked to order. It's conveniently situated for the town and old village.

Allan and I had a one night stay here on 8th March with our dog. Jacky was lovely and welcoming to all of us and nothing was too much trouble. The lovely room we had been allocated was very clean and bright and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with something to suit every taste - Jacky made me porridge...

I stayed here for 2 nights with my friend. We had never visits the Isle of Wight before and during the booking telephone conversation with Jackie, she was a great help providing information on what there was close by. We had a twin room which was a good size, it was clean with a decent ensuite and had a tv...

We arrived on the Isle of Wight for a 2 night stay at the Heatherleigh for my birthday. Jackie was lovely and welcoming and her b&b is lovely. She gave us directions to the local restaurant that we had booked for dinner and made sure we had everything we needed. Location is good for the highstreet and the sea front....

Good location - near cliff walks (2 mins) and town centre (5 mins). Sandown is very near. Free parking, dog friendly. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. A very nice house, well decorated and furnished.

We arrived at the heatherleigh on new years eve for 2 nights stay. Most of which I spent in bed as a cold turned into a chest infection .Jackie shone from the first moment she answered the door. A lovely warm cheerful lady. And when on the 2nd day I could face breakfast it was fab. Better English than many...

Jackie works so hard to make her guests welcome. It was a pleasure to spend 5 nights at the Hatherleigh. The room, as was the rest of the establishment, spotlessly clean. The room was warm and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent.. I am hard to please, but Jackie managed it!

Stayed here today, very comfortable with welcoming new owners. Spacious accomodation all newly furnished and decorated in a typical B & B way with ample parking on site or on nearby roads. Apparantly well behaved dogs are welcome here....as well as children!! The breakfast was stupendus with no cutting corners with proper sausages and tomatoes. I will return to update...

Very much enjoyed our short stay, Jackie made us and Tilly our cockapoo very welcome. We will certainly make a return visit for sure. Jackie gave us good advice on dog friendly places to eat locally. The lift to the beach and Shanklin old vilage are both within walking distance.
