On our arrival we were met by Yannis who was very helpful, telling us about the hotel and taking us to our room. The room was very spacious with plenty of storage space for our clothes and nice and warm. At breakfast we met Bev who was very friendly and helpful, she gave some ideas as to where to go... More

I stayed here for a weekend yoga workshop with the excellent Ken Eyerman and was given a warm welcome, a lovely, comfortable room and, overall, a superb experience. The living room, with its open fireplace, was a great place to meet the rest of the group and became a good space to do yoga the next day. The setting for... More

Room should be advertised as "small double" no good if you had suitcases to store. lovely old house tastefully decorated with nice gardens. The staff were very nice and breakfast was very good. The location was great, a lovely quiet culdesac, and within walking distance to beach shops and theatre. Tea coffee and biscuits available all day to help yourselves... More

this was to be a very special weekend to thank relatives for always putting us up when in UK. I spoke to the hotel several times about the weekend, room accom and how special it was to be - they were so obliging over the telephone. How different when we got there. A lovely old stone House with nicely laid out garden. Comfortable beds lovely breakfast and very welcoming staff. Free car parking is limited. The walls were hung with modern art which did not conflict with the Victorian structure. Very suitable for a quiet relaxed holiday. Easy access to public transport.

We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing, 3 night stay The Grange. We found it whilst looking for a b&b, and were absolutely bowled over by the place. It is a lovely old house, with the most beautiful garden that leads down to The Chine area. Every where feels welcoming and relaxing, from the comfortable bedrooms, the spacious sitting... More

After reading reviews from previous visitors was disappointed with certain aspects of the Grange hotel in Shanklin. Overall it's relaxed with classical music playing day and night quietly in the background downstairs-very calming. There are self service hot drinks and biscuits any time and in the afternoon little chocolate bites. Unfortunately there are not enough car parking spaces for the... More

We stayed for four nights at The Grange and wished we were staying longer. Our room, which was on the ground floor, was spacious and very comfortable. We could open the patio door and take our cups of tea outside and use the variety of seating there or go into the huge comfy lounge. The bathroom wasn't too large but... More
