We had a Lovely hotel room. The room was clean and restocked tea and milk while we were out. Owner was friendly and very helpful. There was a good choice of breakfast with cereals, fruit and cooked breakfast. Was close to the beach and not a far walk to the shops. Very pleasant stay and would stay again ty

Can't fault this hotel on price cleanliness or friendliness. Breakfasts were excellent and owners couldn't do enough for you. Recommended for singles couples and families; although rooms on top floor maybe be bit too much for some.

Let's start with the location, it is really good and only a 10 minute walk from the centre of the promenade. After that it is only another 10-15 minute walk and you are in town. The host Eric, a very nice gentleman who was always very chatty and enthusiastic. The B&B itself was a little tired in places but that... More

Eric and his wife are so welcoming and do everything they can to make your stay great, we mentioned we were going to get the steam train and Eric gave us a lift to the station and also waited to make sure it was running (which it wasn't!!) so he took us somewhere else instead! Breakfast was good. Hotel room... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was fine and clean, with adequate storage for clothing. It is a good idea to shower early or at other times of day when no one else is showering! Our vegetarian cooked breakfast was excellent with plenty of supporting tea, coffee and toast. The host was very helpful and... More

Friendly owners, however the rooms aren't nice at all. Very dated, and the colored bed sheets (opposed to white) made me question how clean they really were. The sliding door to the shower room didn't stay shut. Anyway, it was an incredibly last minute booking as our ferry was cancelled and had I had a choice of where we were... More

Stayed 6 nights, found it very welcoming and excellent value. Eric even dropped our cases at the Ferry Terminal to save us going back to the hotel. The reviews are very good for a very simple reason - Eric and his wife know how to provide a friendly welcome and a great stay.

Realy this is not a hotel, but closer to a guest house. The host Eric could really not do too much for you, and went out of his way the make the stay enjoyable. The breakfasts are excellent, there is a smallish lounge as part of the dining room with TV and computer access. The rooms, although compact are very clean... More

I wanted a cheap hotel for a short business trip. This hotel was among the cheapest I could find, so no complaints on that score. The proprietor (Mr Li) was very welcoming and willing to help, even carrying out large suitcase up to the 4th (top floor). And his breakfasts were good. But, although clean enough, it's has a "low-rent"... More
