Me and my wife have just returned from the Grand Pineapple Beach Resort in Antigua where we had a nice and relaxing time on our honeymoon. I hope this review helps anyone thinking about going there and we believe our review is a fair reflection of what to expect. Both of us are aged around the 30 mark. Here goes…....

My husband and I went to the Grand Pineapple for the first two weeks in September for our second honeymoon, accompanied by my mum and dad to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary. Our experience in trying to get to Antigua is currently being complained about to Hayes and Jarvis and British Airways (to cut a long story short- due to...

Firstly this is not Sandals, if you want Sandals then expect to pay Sandals prices. I have read a few recent reviews The airport is slow at best , and whilst after a long flight it's not ideal it's the caribbean and they are very laid back.heathrow it is not. Transfers are arranged as soon as you exit , and...

The Journey & Arrival We travelled to the Grand Pineapple on 17th August for two weeks with our daughters aged 19 and 24.  We booked with Virgin holidays and used the V room at Gatwick, which was wonderful.  For £20 per person, this included an unlimited buffet breakfast (cooked breakfast, cereals, pastries etc), as well as the lounge to relax...

Our last day at GPB and we've had a lovely holiday. We booked a Beachfront room but on arrival were upgraded (without being informed) to a Tropical Oceanfront room which was nicely decorated with kingsize bed, private balcony overlooking the ocean and double shower in the ensuite. Only downside was the old style CRT TV which kept crackling. We did...

We are going home today and leave feeling we've had good value for money. Firstly this is not a Sandals resort, it is owned by Sandals, and they use the Sandals name on china, wifi, giftshop bags etc. This resort is 3-4 star, we stayed in an Ocean view room which was a good size, clean, had a great view...

We regret to hear that your stay was not as expected. We strive to uphold the highest standards of service and quality. On a tropical island it is difficult, at times, to keep the birds away as we are in their habitat but our staff monitors the grounds, especially the eating areas, carefully to ensure that we avoid any unsanitary...

Myself and two friends traveled to Antigua 03Sep - 11Sep, non stop rain upon arrival but it stopped after three days. Upon arrival we had to go to the reception and sit down as if we were in a school assembly literally, the room that was assigned to us at first was tiny, we are three girls in our mid...
