I booked a very last minute February half term term break to the IOW and this hotel served its purpose (i.e., a clean place to sleep), but it's so frustrating to see a wonderful building that's essentially clean and tidy but lacking in basic decor and room amenities. It takes so little to give a room a lick of fresh...

Very old fashioned inside, rooms clean but small. Limited parking would be difficult if the hotel was full. WiFi non existent in the room. TV in room tiny. Bed very hard. Dining room very large and was freezing, had 2 small fan heaters on.

Great value for money we booked a Groupon deal which included dinner on the first night, breakfast and ferry crossing which the hotel arranged. The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast buffet was nice with enough options available. Dinner was lovely all freshly cooked and very tasty. The whole area was very quiet as we were very out of...

We paid a extra £10 for seaview (weather so awful could not see the end of the road, let alone the sea!) - but that was not the Hotel's fault. It was only £40 a night and included breadfast - which was much better than expected. Infact, 1st class english breakfast. Bedrooms very basic but serve the purpose and really...

My wife and I stayed here as part of a Groupon deal (New Year break). The return car ferry crossing (Portsmouth / Fishbourne or Southampton / Cowes) was included and was all arranged by the Hotel. We had a large sea view room - yes peer between the houses opposite but it was ok for us . We received a...

We stayed here with a Groupon deal and paid extra for a sea view which we didn't really get (If you tiled your head and slanted your eyes you could just about make out the sea between the two houses opposite). Yes, the building is very dated and there have been comments about this on here, but it was built...

Stay away from this horrible Hotel. We had a worst experience of our life. Its not child friendly and poor customer experience. Very old decoration which reminded me of my Gran care home. Replenish of toiletries NO CHANCE.
