We paid upfront in full £640.00 for 5 nights with breakfast but only stayed for 3 nights and 2 mornings of breakfasts We were told on arrival that only a full English breakfast was available. There were no other guest or customers and now I can understand why. There is no dinner service or snacks available and the owner accused... More

We stayed in the Victoria Hotel the night before setting off to walk the Cateran Trail. I had read varying reviews but it was very reasonably priced so decided to take a punt and book in here; I'm very glad I did. This room was the cheapest we stayed in on our travels by a long way but was the... More

Had a lovely stay at the victoria hotel. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. We very much enjoyed the English breakfast and the service was spot on. Added bonus was the bowl of jelly beans in the room. Would recommend and will stay again.

The hotel is in need of some really serious renovation. The room smelled of smoke and I was initially disappointed. However, I had one of the best night's sleep I've had in a long long time - very comfy bed. Very warm welcome from the owner.

Old and tired needing extensive renovation. Run by a very pleasant young couple. No dinner service and the breakfast was pre-cooked which was strange. The bar was noisy until 11 but closed promptly at 11. The room was very clean but the whole place needs renovating.

After a long day out in Blairgowrie, it was unusual to return to room in the evening to find that housekeeping had not been in to make the bed, tidy towels etc. Furniture very shabby and hotel overall very dull.

Having read some of the reviews I had some concerns. However on arrival I was met with a warm welcome. Yes there is only parking for 2 vehicles but the public carpark is right next to the hotel and it was a mere £1 to park there over night (not as expensive as was suggested in a previous review). Ok... More

My wife and I have just returned from an overnight stay at the Victoria hotel ( with our two small well behaved dogs ). We did not expect too much as we only paid £65 for the nights stay( excluding breakfast ) which was on offer at an additional charge of £7.95 each if we wished. On arrival just after... More

First visit here and overall very happy with it. Yes there are a couple of issues, restricted parking and maybe a lick of paint, but thats just cosmetic. Its very old fashioned inside but that lends to the warmth of an old fashioned hotel. The young couple who run it have only recently taken over and its a work in... More
