We had booked room 1 several months in advance based on previous reviews. Accommodation and breakfasts lived up to expectations. Jill very helpful and friendly. Good location for stay in any weather with Balmoral/Braemar, Glamis Castle, Perth, Pitlochry and the coast within easy reach. Good choice of restaurants within 10/15 minutes walk with varied menus to suite most tastes and...

Jill was very helpful and informative about local walks and restaurants. As a result I saw beautiful scenery and ate delicious meals out. The local soft fruit is delicious and there was plenty to choose from at breakfast; the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. I hope to stay there next and every time I visit Blairgowrie!

This is a lovely B & B. We stayed in the same double room as we stayed in on our previous visit which is well appointed and has everything you need. The ensuite had everything including a good size bath and also a separate shower cubicle. It is an excellent size. There is also a lovely first floor lounge with...

Jill runs a beautiful house. Our room was gorgeous - a huge comfy bed, large bathroom with separate shower. We have never stayed in a place where so much attention was paid to detail: from sewing kit and bathrobes to wine glasses in the room, fresh milk available for your tea/coffee tray & a big variety of organic teas. Breakfast...

Our en-suite room was impeccably prepared and worthy of any top class hotel. There is also a lovely lounge to relax in and enjoy views across the Blairgowrie countryside whilst browsing through a thoughtfully selected collection of local books and information. The freshly cooked Scottish breakfast is supplemented by locally produced fruits and jams and really sets you up for...

My friend and I spent 2 great nights away exploring the beautiful countryside around Blairgowrie. Gilmore House was easy to find and plenty of parking at the side of the property. Jill welcomed us in and showed us to our room which was lovely and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was one of thee best I have had, plenty of selection....

Our overnight stay proved to be warm and comfortable. Although next to the main road into Blairgowrie from Perth, the room was quiet and we were not disturbed by the traffic. The breakfast, with local produce and eggs fresh from the hens in the garden, was absolutely delicious - beautifully cooked and presented. Would certainly recommend staying here.

Gilmore House was just what we needed for an Easter weekend break. Cosy, clean and comfortable with an excellent Scottish breakfast on offer. Jill was helpful and welcoming, even offering to serve our breakfast a little later due to the clocks going forwards. Handy for local restaurants, walks and outdoor activities.
