Proprietor Norrie Hannah could not have been more helpful while our plans continually changed. Unfortunately we were ultimately not able to stay at Arden House, but we will make effort to stay there soon. Norrie is a consummate professional and warm human being.

We were a party of 5 ladies who were staying at Arden House for 4 nights as the hotel we originally booked as a package tour had overbooked their rooms, Initially we were not very happy about this, but they actually did us a favour. The rooms at Arden House are spacious, traditionally decorated, with a lovely modern bathroom with...

Great to be upgraded to large room on arrival. The whole place is traditionally decorated but in beautiful condition. Rooms better appointed than usual - free mineral water, good range of toiletries etc. Great night's sleep in very comfy bed. And breakfast excellent - everything nicely cooked and good, strong coffee.

Beautifully appointed, spacious bedroom in lovely old home. Host and hostess very welcoming. Excellent Scottish breakfast. Kingussie is away from the hustle of Aviemore, but access to regional activities is easy.

By far the best bab we have found in Scotland. Superb ambiance of antique furniture wallpaper and curtains. Clean and comfortable beds and baths that work well. The most welcoming hosts I have had the opportunity to meet. Finally, the food is excellent. Absolute best coffee I've had. Well worth a detour. Close to the Cairngorms. A SOLID 6.

"Can I offer you a whiskey?" What a welcome to a lovely guest house in the heart of the Cairngorms. Magnificent breakfast, comfortable and clean rooms and the most welcoming of hosts. They gave us great advice about local walks and places to see. Simply lovely.

We were travelling to Inverness and stayed over at Arden House. The hosts Norrie & Jenny made us feel very welcome and at ease right away. The room and facilities were first class and we thoroughly enjoyed our nights stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Large room with nice bathroom. The quality and quantity of breakfast was...
