We stayed for one night on Easter Sunday and had two rooms booked, one superior and one standard double. We were very warmly greeted, there were Easter eggs and easter chicks all over the hotel which was a really nice touch. When we got to the rooms we were very pleased and there was even an easter egg in each...

We stayed at The Graystoke for one night over the Easter weekend where we stayed in room 3 (large double, with sofa and shower room). We received a very warm welcome from the owner and were shown up to our room which was very spacious and spotless, it also had some nice touches like bottled water in the fridge and...

We stayed for one night at The Graystoke, a really superb managed B&B. The owner was very helpful and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our superior room was spacious and spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable. Parking is available in front of the building, please make sure you park your car within the white lines in...

Had never been to this area before this trip and had a great visit. There is nothing I can add to the previous reviews as The Graystoke is the perfect guest house. Don't even bother to search for any alternative accommodation as you won't better the service given by Gabi and John. The place is spotless and the food very,...

Located in a cluster of B&Bs just outside the town centre, the Graystoke proved an excellent place for our overnight stay in Ilfracombe. With convenient off-street parking, clean, well-maintained rooms and an excellent breakfast, all our key needs were met. It was great to see Free Trade tea, coffee and biscuits on the in-room tray, and the free bottles of...

My wife and I stayed for one night at The Graystoke and were fortunate to find a room where just about everywhere else in Ilfracombe was fully booked. However, for anyone planning a visit to Ilfracombe I would suggest not bothering to look any further ... just book a room at The Graystoke. Our room was large and like the...

We have stayed at the Graystoke Hotel quite a few times, each time in a different room. All the rooms were very spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. The food is excellent, served by Gabi and cooked by John. We have been made very welcome every time we have stayed there right from the first visit. We would recommend this...

Our recommendation, of the Graystoke Hotel, is based upon the experiences of my wife and myself over several visits each year for the last five years. The welcome and the attention given by John and Gabi are second to none. The Graystoke is within walking distance of Ilfracombe town centre and it is also on bus routes to the surrounding...
