Lovely 2 night stay. Upgraded to bigger room as it was my birthday - nice touch. Room 3 was great, lovely size , very clean. Bed was comfortable , shower was great. Breakfast was delicious and very hot. Would definitely stay here again , car park was just behind the hotel £9 for 48 hours - good price.

Myself and partner spent two nights here. Lovely clean spacious room. Great welcome. Hassle free. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Both owners had time to say hello and have a chat. Also to recommend places to eat out. Highly recommended.

Clean & tidy family room, sensibly priced , ideal for our long weekend stay. Very tasty cooked breakfast. Parking was easy to find close to the hotel, not over expensive at £5 for 24hrs, but best to pay in cash at machine as was giving problems to members of the public trying to pay by card!

Our room was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was first class, couldn't fault any of it. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend to all our family and friends. Perfect position for the South Beach and town.

Just returned from a 2 night stay in the Strathmore where we booked 3 rooms with a group of friends for a boozy weekend. The hotel is a short walk from the main bars and ideally set close enough to the "action" but far enough away to not have any noisy disturbances. Rooms were clean and warm and I especially... More

Lovely clean B&B with fantastic breakfast! Spotlessly clean in a great location right in town. Would most definitely visit again! Just a short walk from South Beach and ample parking just around the corner. Great choice for ironman weekend as it is basically in the bike/run transition!

We stayed at this hotel whilst attending a nearby wedding. The hotel was very pleasant and good value for money. The breakfast was excellent and the owner friendly. We left some things behind which he kindly posted back the very next day. Many thanks,
