Having recently returned from 10 exciting years working in the US, Matt and Ruth have taken on this gorgeous property - The Broadmead and are loving the ambience and vibe of this period building. Situated in a leafy suburb just a 20 minute stroll to the historic walled town of Tenby. We have ample car parking in our landscaped grounds. All bedrooms are unique in their decor with complimentary wifi. The gorgeous lawn is lovely for sitting in the sunshine with a glass of champagne or cold beer. Breakfast is served in our contemporary spacious dining room overlooking the south facing gardens. Rumoured to be the best breakfast in town, it gives our visitors a real hearty start to the day.

Received a very warm welcome on arrival and was given a tour of the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for Omar and Miranda. Omar in particular seemed to have every base covered - reception, the bar area and the breakfast room. The decor is lovely in the breakfast room and the lounges. The beds were extremely comfortable and we didn’t hear any noise at night even though the hotel was full. The garden area is lovely with outside seating; perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. The breakfast was warm, well cooked and freshly made, with a good choice of food on both the cold and hot menu. It’s about a 15 minute stroll into the centre or only about £3.50 in a taxi. Plenty of parking spaces, even though the hotel was full. Would certainly book again.

Stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday.

On arrival we were warmly greeted, given a tour of the premises and shown to our room. Unfortunately on the first night we were not impressed with our room particularly due to the noise levels from surrounding rooms - we may have just got unlucky as we surrounded by children and families. As it’s an old building the walls are thin and other rooms could be easily heard. I attempted to upgrade or change room and as it was fully booked due to bank holiday I was unable to change rooms.

The next morning whilst heading out, Miranda the host pulled us to one side and said that she had a room for us. We looked at the room and it was far better in every way and in a quieter corner of the B&B. This immediately put us at ease and we were extremely appreciative and comfortable for the rest of our stay.

Miranda and Omar run the show well and nothing is too much for them. They both made myself and my girlfriend very welcome and looked after throughout our stay.

The breakfast each morning from the full English, the vegetarian breakfast, the salmon and eggs Benedict were absolutely superb. Not once did breakfast disappoint and the choice of continental breakfast was decent and the complimentary glass of Buck’s Fizz a nice touch. The staff at breakfast were also very welcoming and professional.

2020 has obviously been dominated by covid-19 and the Broadmead were fantastic in the way in which they adopted measures to facilitate guests. Not easy by any means and full credit for the way in which the B&B has approached this.

The B&B itself is exactly what it says it is in the form of a boutique B&B located in beautiful surroundings. The location perfect for a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk into the centre of Tenby. Also, only a 10 minute drive from Saundersfoot or 30 minute drive to Pembroke castle.

I’d highly recommend Broadmead Boutique B&B.

Based on the reviews previously stated before September 2020 there were mentions of the hotel being dated and tired, the new owners have really taken these reviews on board and have smashed it out of the park. We had a warm welcome from Omar which didn’t waste time in assisting us with our bags and showing us around the place with any questions or queries answered along the way, he was very helpful and took us to the garden room that we were very lucky to stay in.

The bathroom is perfect with an amazing power shower and a bath which was convenient after walking around Tenby town all day, the bedroom was perfect with a view of the garden and a bed that you can sink into. Garden furniture also just outside the room and throughout the garden which is also perfect for when it’s the summer and you want to kick back and relax.

All the staff in the B&B were incredibly helpful and polite whilst also providing a top of the range breakfast which even after reading 100s of reviews has never had a complaint about with plenty of choice.

Definitely would stay again and this was brought to Omar’s attention at the check out and he was helpful enough to look at the best dates to book and to look at availability. Definitely would recommend and 100% deserves the #1 reviewed hotel on trip advisor in Tenby

Stayed here for two nights as part of our coastal staycation. The hotel is perfect in every way. From the first greeting with Omar we knew it was going to be a fabulous choice. The hotel is beautifully clean and decorated in a tasteful modern way with each room having a different colour scheme . The breakfast was superb .. top class fresh ingredients with a large choice and the waiting staff were so helpful and obliging .. nothing was too much trouble for the staff every cup of tea came with a little treat - a homemade shortbread or a Welsh cake. The beautiful garden was well maintained and there is even a little room at the top of the stairs used as a library with books to borrow. Fresh flowers in the room, gorgeous toiletries, a lovely tea / coffee tray with a daily treat in the room with a flask of fresh milk. The little touches make this hotel the best we’ve ever stayed in. A 15 20 minute walk will get you into the main town in Tenby which was extremely busy and we preferred the short drive to the quieter Saundersfoot.. very pretty . Well done to everyone at the hotel - Omar is such a great guy very friendly and helpful he seems to be everywhere all at once in the hotel he is super busy. We loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to give it full marks ( and more!) heaven in Pembrokeshire !!

We stayed here one night at short notice whilst on a weekend break. Our welcome by Omar was wonderful. He dealt with the Coronavirus precautions with a light touch, whilst wearing his visor!

Our room was comfortable, but as with a lot of things at the Broadmead, it was a little dated. However, it was scrupulously clean.

Omar and Miranda are newly managing the hotel and on our stay had only been there a couple of weeks and were doing a tremendous job. Very friendly and efficient.

Breakfast was a triumph with great service and delicious food.

Hopefully the owners will spend some money bringing elements of the hotel up to date, but do not let this put you off. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My girlfriend and I spent one night here in a ‘Classic Double Room’ which was £150.00 per night.

Overall experience staying at the hotel was great. The room was very clean and modern. The new managers Omar and Miranda couldn’t do enough for you, they were very welcoming and were always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay pleasant.

Breakfast was excellent considering the circumstances of not being allowed to serve yourself at the buffet. Main course such as full English/smoked salmon etc were chosen from a main menu (plenty of variety) and served at the table. Additional items on the continental buffet were requested and also brought to the table by the staff. You won’t leave the breakfast room hungry!

Only a 15 minute walk into the town. A taxi cost around £5-6 home in the evening back to the hotel.

The owners Gary and Marlene were also lovely, very welcoming and never too busy to assist you. Would definitely recommend The Broadmead B&B for anyone visiting in the area! Would definitely return for another stay.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, one of the best we've ever had in a hotel. The room was comfortable and even though the hotel was fully booked there was no noise from other rooms. The outdoor seating area was a nice place to enjoy a drink in the afternoon.

When we looked at holidaying in the UK, Tenby and the Broadmead was our chosen location.
The hotel catered for all our needs, just a short 15 minute walk to the the town centre.
The hotel manager and their team managed to create a safe environment, which was as close to normality as we have experienced all summer, well done to all the staff.
Our room was very spacious, the rooms also had a hairdryer and a cooling fan.
Due to the restrictions the hotel operated a two different times for breakfast to enable all the guests to be seated with the restaurant, opting for the later time slot was the best option.
The hotel had plenty of parking for vehicles, a residents bar and a delightful seating area in the garden, which we used at the end of the day.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the manager was very professional and always interacted with the guests to ensure that everything was ok.
Definitely a place to visit again
Thank you
Tad

We were lucky to get 3 nights here to add on to our holiday and so glad we did.
We stayed here first and as it was a late booking we had to take the only available room so not our choice but it had everything we needed. We hope to book a larger room next year. The room was very clean with nice bed linen and we like the hospitality tray with homemade shortbread and a flask with fresh milk daily. There was a bath with power shower over it.
We were at the front and despite reading about road noise we didn’t have a problem with it and it is really peaceful at night. We walked back from town twice at night and hardly a car passed us. The walk is fine once you get used to it and yes a steep hill going was a challenge at first but we are a mature couple. We walked back and forth twice one day.
The grounds are kept neat and tidy and are very nice and we loved the fish pond that we overlooked.
There is free parking at the front and it is spacious enough for everyone.
The back garden is delightful with tables and chairs and parasols.
We really liked the two small comfortable lounges one with a small bar. The conservatory across the back Is lovely.
The breakfast here was the best we had during our stays in Tenby. A lovely bright dining room overlooking the lovely garden. Service was excellent and very good quality produced used. The help yourself buffet area is delightful and the choice of cereals excellent. The freshly prepared large fruit bowl was lovely and the blueberry muffins scrumptious, not forgetting choice of juices and complimentary Buck’s Fizz should you wish to have that. You make your own toast with nice quality bread.
All the crockery is tasteful and as I say breakfast was a joy each morning.

There are fresh carnations on the table as you enter the breakfast room plus in the room and on the corridors. Nice background music adds to the experience and around the hotel it is so relaxing and not loud.
We had booked an offer of a free bottle of Prosecco for booking direct and this was served at our requested time - so on a rainy afternoon we had this whilst relaxing in the lounge served by Miranda and was brought in an ice bucket. It was a nice quality and a nice touch.
We loved it here and can’t wait to return.
Omar, Miranda and all the team are very nice and we would like to thank everyone for making our first stay here so very nice.

We toured Wales, north to south and Broadmead was right up there, excellent accommodation (we stayed in the coach house which is 10 seconds away from the main house) which is very well maintained. The breakfast was also 5 star, the only place in the whole of Wales that we visited that provided a cloth napkin, something that I would expect if restaurants are offering fine dining! There is a bar here, open until 10pm I understand but no evening food options. We therefore walked into Tenby following the helpfully provided map and it took about 20 minutes to the town centre and we also walked home following quite a heavy meal! Taxis are available but book early.

I would thoroughly recommend Broadmead and will definitely return when we visit the area again.
