So much nicer than a plastic 5 star hotel, this charming 3 bedded B and B, situated close to Lord Street was a real find. Large well appointed bedroom, nice shower room and spotlessly clean. Tea/ coffee making facilities, biscuits, chocolates, no shower cap or body lotion but the room rate was very reasonable. In the morning, there was plenty...

I stayed for one night on a business trip. A warm welcome and a cup of tea after a long day. My room was beautiful; spotless. Lots of attention to detail, making it home from home. Excellent breakfast and have no hesitation in recommending a stay at The Norwood.

Why might you choose a B& B instead of a hotel? Smaller, more homely, friendly owners, time to have a conversation You 'll get all of this and more at Norwood. Richard clearly enjoys what he is doing and the recommendations for dinner and subsequent bookings were appreciated

Valentina & Richard took great care of us during our single night stay, nothing was too much trouble. Tea & cakes on arrival and a very informative introduction to the town which helped us immensely on our several walks around. The room was lovely and bright and the care and attention to detail was most impressive, with little touches to...

We stayed for 2 nights and on arrival were immediately made to feel very welcome and were offered tea and a slice of delicious homemade fruit cake. Our room was at the front of the house and had a large seating area. There was everything you needed including bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits and chocolates. Each evening...

Stayed here for one night. The B&B is a lovely house run by an equally lovely couple, who were most welcoming. We were offered a drink on arrival and shown to a very spacious room, which had an en suite shower room attached. The room had everything you need, including bottled water, tea and coffee making tray and a few...

Beautiful little B&B, run by a lovely couple who really seem to enjoy what they do, nothing is too much trouble & attention to detail in everything they do is part of the norm with them. Our room was lovely & very comfortable. Breakfast was superb. The Norwood is situated in an ideal location close to everything you need.
