Booked the hotel via a Buy a gift voucher (luckily less than half price which is about right for this hotel). The staff are really friendly and although clean, the hotel was very tired & in need of an upgrade, it could be really nice but would need a lot spending on it. The towels were really thin & stained and there was too much furniture in the room (7). Breakfast was ok. We didn't fill in a covid form!

We stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend we were upgraded to room 15 a room with a patio and garden which was great , room big and clean comfy beds and very quiet location . breakfast was great plenty of choice ,The owners were very friendly and always smiling ,the lady serving Breakfast was also lovely ,Free parking and only a short walk into Lord street and the sea front .would stay her again ,Thanks you 😀

Just returned from a 2 night weekend stay at the Balmoral hotel. We arrived and filled in covid 19 form saying we had no symptoms. Our room was number 7 , very large bedroom with nice sitting area and good views of the garden. The owners were extremely friendly, the room was very clean and only 5 minutes walk to bars and restaurants. My wife and myself would happily return to the Balmoral in the future.

Myself and my partner had a wonderful stay. Our room was spacious with a large window overlooking the beautiful garden. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything you needed. The man on reception was very very friendly, as well as the lady who served us breakfast! The breakfast was nice- cold options such as fruit/yoghurts/cereals or a cooked breakfast if you fancy. Overall it reminded me of the hotels you get in France when skiing. Really cosy and warm. We will 100% stay again :)

We stayed in room 11,right at the top. The room had everything you need (towels, tea&coffee selection and etc. Room and tge communal areas were stoptless clean. Breakfast selection was very good, hot stuff like egg/bacon etc was cooked to order. Price was fair. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the supplement for a dog (£10),this was not mentioned by the booking agent.
