My arrival was delayed by major train disruption from England, so I arrived on foot (an easy short walk from the station, even at dark in the rain) just as the restaurant was closing. So I expected to have to go out into town and...More
Nicely situated in central Stirling. Room was tastefully decorated, although some aspects a bit dated. Bathroom had been modernised. Disappointed that Wifi was only available in public areas. But it was conjusive to a good nights sleep! 😂 Had a few drinks in bar, reasonably...More
You can see photos of this hotel in old photos of Stirling. It is a good value, less expensive than many, but not lacking in amenities. A good sized bathtub and two heaters were appreciated in a very cold April. I tried out the restaurant,...More
Nice bar, room clean and tidy. Nicely decorated, if a little old fashioned, and well worth the money. It is central to the town. Staff polite! There is a designated car park too. We only stayed one night but was a comfortable stop on our...More

As said above, there is a lift from the carpark up to reception and the other floors. When I was there I saw a gentleman in a wheel chair using this lift and sharing the lift with companions, so though small the lift is adequate. The problem is getting into the car park, which is behind the hotel, especially if you are new to Stirling. Then having found the car park finding a space may be difficult depending on the time of day. Speak to the hotel directly, they may have disabled spaces set aside.
