Firstly I just want to thank Sandra for a warm welcome and great service. The house is beautiful with a huge garden at the back. We stayed in the 4 poster suite with a very large private bathroom. The room was clean and quiet. A 10-15 minute walk to the centre. Great breakfast in the morning too. Would definitely stay... More

My wife Julie and I visited Pickering last week end for the "War Weekend Event" for the third year running. The whole weekend experience was great and was made better by being able to stay for bed and breakfast at Ingledene. Sandra the owner is lovely and makes us very welcome. Our room was on the ground floor with coffee... More

Welcoming host, very clean and lovely large en-suite bathroom. Enjoyable breakfast cooked at time requested, so that we could have an early start to catch the train to Whitby. Nice location and spacious garden with a very playful border collie.

First impressions are not too wonderful, endless gravel with no colour & a front door in urgent need of upgrading or painting However all of this is forgiven as Sandra is a very welcoming host & all you need for a pleasant stay is supplied We had a four poster bed - beware if you are looking for romance/tradition, this... Pleasant room and large bathroom, but the "Four-Poster Bed" was unlike anything I have seen before. More like a birdcage. Maybe I was expecting something more traditional! Warm welcome and room. Bed comfy. Breakfasts are great and the pleasantly laid back landlady can't do more to give a great stay. Friendly sheepdog who will cope with ball throwing all day... More

My partner and I stayed at the campsite situated in a small field next to the main building and b&b. We deliberately picked a few days before the school holidays to avoid the site being too noisy and our plan worked! It's a small site with minimum facilities of two showers one washing up station and a few toilets. All... More

“The room i stayed in was very small. For me it was fine as i spent very little time in it as we were out all day. It had everything i needed and was nice but I would suggest if you want a larger room to ask for a larger room as the one me Pops had was fine and i know there are also other larger rooms here.”
