My annual visit, my annual review! Can't really add much to what I have written time and time again. I love staying here when I visit my relatives in Pickering, it's my 'home away from home'. Stuart, Leslie and all the staff are so welcoming. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and amenities are well stocked - bathroom and tea... More

This is our third visit to Grindale and will definitely be back. Stewart and all the staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home straight away. For the second time we stayed in the Kingfisher room in the courtyard and it is our favourite. A beautiful room. Great time at a great place.

We were greeted at the gate by Stewart, the Proprietor, who then showed us to our room..Grindale is full of character - quite quirky in places. The quality of the furniture and fitments is of the highest order, and spotlessly clean. Stewart and his staff are always on hand, and helped make our stay memorable.. Without doubt, one of the... This was our third stay at Grindale House and on our arrival we were offered a very warm welcome by Stuart (nothing is too much trouble for this man!). We went with another couple and had the two rooms that are upstairs, off the lounge area. The room was nice and clean and has a small window overlooking the rear... More

My wife and I stayed at Grindale House 6 & 7 Sept. '16. We were met by Stuart, the owner who showed us to a really impressive bedroom which had it's own separate sitting room and en suite facilities.and even a small yet handy fridge. The following morning we were treated to an array of delicious choices for breakfast, hot... More

I booked 3 rooms for the bank holiday weekend. Each one was spotlessly clean and lovely. We parked in the car park at the back, it was a bit tight getting in but managed it with no problem. The garden is lovely, very well manicured. The hospitality was so welcoming. We were overjoyed with the whole experience and would recomend... More

It had been nearly three years since our last stay at Grindale House and the welcome and hospitality was still as warm as ever. The gardens were looking lovely and the courtyard rooms comfortable and cosy. You get a front door key along with your room key and are free to come and go as you choose. There is a... More
