We arrived later than expected but still had a warm welcome. Tea and cake in the sitting room. Room 1 we had booked is very comfy, on the 1st floor overlooking a very quiet street. The bathroom stocked with fluffy towels and nice smellies a long hot soak just the thing after Friday motorway traffic. The twin beds are comfy...

Stayed here for three nights with my husband. Very attentive hosts. Room, food, position, all excellent. Lovely extra touches in the room, including chocolates, biscuits and bottled water daily. We will definitely be going for a third time.

Many thanks for your review of your stay in the Coach House our two bed cottage. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Our cottages do face on to the main road to Whitby and as a result do suffer from traffic noise, not a good choice for light sleepers! Im pleased that this did not affect your stay....

Stayed here the night before a business meeting and pleased at m6 choice. I've stayed at a few guest houses etc as you can see from my reviews and this is the best of the bunch. Very clean room , warm friendly welcome, great location close to this lovely small town. My room was a little small but as it's...

Bramwood was perfect right from the moment of booking. Richard was friendly and helpful regarding parking advice and that we were concerned we might be late arriving. On arrival we were warmly greeted and shown our room. Room 4 was absolutely perfect and the pictures on the web site did it justice (unlike pictures of rooms you find on some...

Thank you for your review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. We aware that the size of the TV in room four is a little small for the size of the room and it will be replaced this year. We hope to be able to welcome you back to Bramwood in the future. Kind regards Helene

Booked 2 rooms for 1 night with my sister & elderly mum. We were very pleased with the quiet street, good free parking, rooms decorated with lovely old traditional furniture. Little extras in the rooms are a nice touch. Tea, coffee, etc. small bag of chocolates, biscuits, bottled water. Breakfast was excellent in choice & quality. Would definitely stay again.

Bramwood is a beautiful old guest house with such a lot of character. The room we stayed in (room 4) was a lovely, comfy space which looked recently decorated. On our arrival we met with Richard who offered us coffee and a slice of cake, we chose our breakfast and then we were shown to the room which was great...

I stayed at the Bramwood Guest House, Pickering in April 2017. It is run by Helen & Richard. From start to finish it was very welcoming. On arrival, I met Richard and I was offered, tea, coffee, and cake in the lounge that had a lovely open fire. I arrived quite late due to work but the room was very...

Our No 1 choice to stay in Pickering, for short breaks we use the Guest House and for longer stays, if possible, we use the delightful Tack Room, the self catering cottage for 2. This time we used the latter. A fabulous week, even the weather gods played ball! The welcome from Helene and Richard was, as always, brilliant. See...

Totally enjoyed our weekend stay here, everything spotlessly clean and loaded with charm and character. Hosts were on hand with local knowledge and welcomed us with tea and cakes. Breakfast was first class, lots of choice and local produce. The open fire in the sitting room was lovely when we returned from days out; very relaxing. We booked our next...
