We stayed at Barker Stakes for two nights this last weekend , fantastic , it was great comfy clean and a nice little deck all to ourselves. Steve and Sarah were excellent hosts , they gave us a lift to town and offered to share their taxi with us , but we chickened out early and we got a taxi...

We stayed here in a family room rather than in costly Flamingo Land. The price was excellent for the service we received. We stayed in a family room with 2 children and the rooms were great. TV and dvds were available and lots to do for the kids there as there was outdoor games plus the farm to look at,...

We stayed just one night on our way to Whitby and just to take a journey on the Steam Train on the North Yorkshire Railway (Pickering to Whitby and return) The room and facilities were first rate , cleanliness being paramount and the breakfast being cooked to order puts to shame those buffet breakfasts one gets in the standard hotel...

We stayed in the little twin room which is small compared to others but we found it ideal. Very comfortable beds, good power shower, cosy sofa, good size TV and also a fridge which enabled me to have a couple of chilled beers. Room also had a stable door which opened onto the courtyard which gave us privacy but stopped...

We are glad these guests enjoyed their time with us as we really enjoyed having them with us for the week. To clear up any future confusion the accommodation they stayed in was our b and b accommodation which are self contained rooms round the farm and as described however the lodges are mainly self catering.

This was a perfect place whilst visiting the UK to meet with friends. We were able to share the 2 bedroomed loft accommodation which had a nice sitting room where we could catch up, cook, keep wine in the fridge and generally feel at home without worrying about disturbing the other guests. The breakfast conservatory was a lovely airy place...

Stayed here in a double room for one night in August. We had been quad biking nearby the day before for my partner's birthday and we visited Filey as well. The room and bathroom were fantastic, modern and very clean. We were pleasantly surprised with the mini-fridge and free wi-fi. The owners were really friendly and the breakfast was great....

We arrived to Barker Stakes Farm for a 2 night stay in one of their B&B Family Rooms. We had just spent the day at the local Dalby Forest and were pretty exhausted. What a lovely welcome from the owner, Steve, who promptly found our booking and proceeded to help myself and my boyfriend with our luggage. We were shown...
