I fail to see how the wonderful reviews here are justified. We found the hotel to be very poor value for money and certainly not of three star standards. The place was dark, depressing, musty smelling and in need of a complete refurbishment. Our cupboard of a bathroom was none too clean. The chrome fittings were badly discoloured, there was...

I am a senior citizen but still mobile. On arrival, my luggage was taken to my room. The owners and staff just could not do enough for me. Due to medication, I need to have a drink constantly. This was provided, sometimes without asking. The breakfast was fantastic. and the company excellent. I will definitely return to this hotel

My wife, fourteen year old son and I stayed in a family room at around £100 per night. Reading the reviews on this site were we convinced that this would be a price worth paying. However, our experience of this hotel was terrible. Firstly, the room was damp and cold. The only means of heating was an electric convector heater...

Without doubt Andrew and Rosemary were very good hosts and the view over the bay was fantastic. The big downside was the bathroom. It was as another reviewer described it a cupboard in the corner. The sink was half the normal size and impossible to use properly and the water temperature of the shower was tepid unless left to run...

Great hotel ran by extremely welcoming and friendly couple for who nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Situated on the sea-front at the nicer end of Morecambe overlooking the bay and close to all local amenities. A s well as the owners the rest of the staff were also very friendly and helpful especially Joe and Jack (hope I`ve...

We headed out late (lost the car keys) and trailer-limited to a nominal 50 mph, arrived, after covering the 300 miles, at 2 am. Having kept Andrew updated of our progress he was still up to greet us! Pity we hadn't told him about the trailer. No problem - we found a space for it and a couple of bricks...

We stayed here for two nights "on spec" because very little accommodation available elsewhere, but would have left after the first night if we hadn't had to pay upfront! *Reception? Very confused but nice lady was in a muddle trying to find us a room and trying to work out from a diary what was available. Also when we asked...

What a fantastic venue and what a great party ! We held our wedding reception at th Eidsforth hotel on 26th June 2010, and from the moment we walked in to the hotel to make the initial enquiry, to checking out on the day after the wedding, nothing was too much trouble for Rosemary and Andrew. At every stage of...

Very enjoyable stay in a clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms were comfortable and very clean, with tea and coffee and a television. Breakfast was very good. The location is very good with a very good view accross the bay, and only a short walk to the town centre.Car parking spaces were available to the rear of the hotel which is...

I was new to Morecambe. I stayed one night only. I had booked "blind" in advance at the Eidsforth - always a bit of a lottery. However, I received a warm welcome and although I was early for check-in I was shown straightaway to my room so I could settle in. I expressed disappointment that my single room (sea view...
