We stayed in a beautiful room for a family of 4 . Spent our evening in the bar and ate from the evening menu Saturday and Sunday nights . Staff were lovely , breakfast was excellent , great views and a great location for walks along the sea front . Kids loved it and are desperate to go back .

I would definitively recommend avoiding this hotel. It is old, tired and way overpriced. It's only redeeming feature is its location near the coast. However this still doesn't make up for the terrible customer service and rude attitude of the staff.

Stopped on a business trip unfortunately the room I was given was dirty shower was barely warm and just slightly more than a dribble things growing on the shower drain hole. The chef looked dirty and the outside of the hotel looks run down and tatty . Just a typical run down seaside hotel!!!!!

We booked this hotel as emergency accommodation when we had to hit the North East after mother was rushed into hospital. After booking we saw the reviews about the sewage smell etc and considered cancelling. We didn't have time to look for anywhere else as the places we normally stay were fully booked so we turned up knowing it was...

I visited this hotel for a charity fundraising event and was very impressed. I don't usually expect to much at mass catering events because they can be difficult to get right but I had no complaints here. The tables were well dressed and the function room was very inviting. The dinner comprised a three course meal which was well cooked...
