Thie was the second time I stayed at Altonlea and it is quite possibly the nicest and most comfortable B&B experience I've ever had. The room was large and spacious with a lovely sea view. Lee runs the kitchen, where he serves up a great cooked breakfast with care and attention. The week I stayed he took off to Tesco...

From the moment we arrived at altonlea we had a very warm and friendly welcome. The lodge was immaculately clean and nothing was too much trouble for Lee the owner. The breakfast was lovely too and being gluten free I was delighted when I was offered gluten free toast to go with my boiled eggs!!! If you have to stay...

We visit Altonlea several times a year and the standard is always excellent. From the comfortable beds with quality bed linen to the fantastic breakfast (you won't find better in my opinion) to the secure parking, everything is spot on. Lee even knows our preference for fresh milk without us having to ask. We'll be back in 2017

Fantastic family run B&B, a very short stroll to the beach. The accomodation is lovely, and the owners and staff are really warm and friendly, and went above and beyond during my stay. The breakfasts are outstanding, and there's a large menu to choose from. I look forward to visiting again.

I had very much enjoyed my first visit and was looking forward to repeating the experience. This time I stayed at the front of the guest house and it was even better. The room was bigger and the bathroom was really comfortable. The bed was so comfy I would happily have taken it home with me. I have mobility problems...
