I re-visited the Hargreaves house just last week. Truly a great place to visit.Pauline makes you feel so welcome, genuinely a superb host. With a spacious double room and mordern ensuite. Great breakfast. With a sea view and only five minute walk from Bangor town centre its a must visit place.

Have stayed here twice now and thoroughly enjoyed both times. Pretty much everything you could want from a Bed and Breakfast - comfortable and impeccably clean room, tasty and generous breakfast, friendly and extremely helpful owner. Will definitely be going back!

Hi - Glad you all got home safely and thank you so much for for your kind comments on your second stay here with us. I don't think you have any more 90th birthdays to come back to Bangor for but possibly the 95th or even the 100th!! Whatever the reason we look forward to seeing you all again soon....

I stayed at this B&B for one night in April 2017 while attending an even in Bangor. It is only a small B&B with just 3 rooms and overlooks the lough. It is only a few minutes walk from the marina and centre of Bangor. I was warmly welcomed and the bedroom (Room 1) was cosy and well equipped including...

Myself, my husband and two teenage daughters have just had four nights at Hargreaves House, and it was a very pleasant experience indeed. We were made to feel very welcome after our journey by Pauline, and everything was lovely, from the delicious breakfast to the spotless rooms. The house itself has bags of character and is perfectly positioned for a...

Called 20 minutes before we arrived and got a reservation. Outstanding room and great service. It was Mother's Day in Ireland so restaurant reservations were hard to get but Pauline got us into one of the local restaurants and requested a window seat overlooking the water. Breakfast was really good. Would definitely visit again.

We had a great time at this place. We stayed in the slightly more expensive double ensuite room, and really enjoyed it. The room was lovely, quiet, and the bed was very comfy. We slept a lot when we were there! The room we had didn't have a seaview, and I don't think any of the rooms here have a...
