We were a Virgin experience of Kew Gardens and afternoon tea at the hotel, so I booked in for a couple of night so we weren't being rushed . The hotel is clearly an old building and is in desperate need of some serious TLC. Check in was fine, found our room, bit of a maze. Room was a good...

We were bought a Virgin Experience of Kew Gardens and Palace and afternoon tea at this Hotel. We were shown into a totally sole less room where 2 places were set for afternoon tea. It was absolutely deathly quiet with no atmosphere at all. The afternoon tea was bought to us and we were left. The sandwiches were less than...

We had a lovely stay here on a short no kids weekend away to do a show and see the Boat race - the hotel was lovely and really accommodating - enabling us to check in early and leave bags and then to leave the car safely when we went to watch the race. Great room and lovely breakfast in...

Received a very warm welcome from Ann the receptionist. The hotel is a couple of minutes from the entrance to Richmond Park, which is huge and home to Red and Fallow deer. From the hotel it is also an easy walk down to the river for a stroll down the Thames Path, and not far from National Trust Ham House....

Easy to find and a car park makes for a good location to explore the beautiful area, or to base yourself if you also want to go into London. The staff were friendly and quickly moved me to a different room when I asked as the original room was very dark due to a hedge blocking the view and light....

Hotel rooms small but clean, nicely decorated, great location to stay in Richmond, accomodating bar staff. Room wasn't ready at check in time which I wasn't pleased about. I left a nice mirror in the room and they said it wasn't turned in after I checked out.

Thank you for posting a review and I was pleased to read you had an enjoyable stay. The executive and suite bedrooms are the larger rooms at the hotel. Please accept my apologies if your room was not available at check in time. We do try to ensure all rooms are ready, but occasionally if we have late checkouts there...

We have never reviewed a hotel before but felt we had to for other people's sake. Got a really good deal on the room rate for £79 but did not expect to be put in the basement. A previous reviewer also stayed in the same room that we did (Room 40), but seems to have liked it. Having stayed at...

Please accept my apologies that your stay was not as enjoyable as you had hoped. Being a character/listed building does mean that bedrooms will require stair access. Some will have views and some not. If guests have any specific requests then please let us know prior to arrival and subject to availability these will be accommodated. I will ask the...

Needed a bed for a 1 night stay with access to central London and Rosslyn park school rugby 7s. Proved to be ideal - got upgraded by Lucy so had a large double with a large ensure. Staff are lovely, a great setting and handy walk to the pubs and restaurants. Downsides - the place needs a bit of a...
