First the negatives. We had paid Thompson for an upgraded side sea view, however, presently the main focus of this view is a building site...so was quite disappointed with this. The road too can be busy and a little noisy. Now for the positives. We loved this hotel and it's location away from the busy town area but on a direct bus route to both Paphos and Coral Bay and with a bus stop right outside. All the hotel staff were friendly and just couldn't do enough for us. Everything in the hotel was really clean and the food was of excellent quality and really tasty. Never normally eat sweets abroad but could not resist the bread and butter pudding here! On arrival we upgraded to the all inclusive local drinks which was a good move as the drinks were very good and beautifully presented. Entertainment was good and we enjoyed some dancing and singers during our stay, special thanks to Harry and Luke! Hotel was initially very quiet but became busier during our stay, however,this didn't affect the service in any way. I can certainly understand why people return to this hotel. One suggestion might be for a selection of snacks to be available to purchase in the bar/pool area. There were some sandwiches in the upper bar but it would have been nice to have more choices for a lunchtime snack.

Visited here 14th August for a week. The hotel is extremely clean, well set for inviting holiday makers whilst maintaining a safe, comfortable, relaxing time through covid. The staff are very friendly and made everyone feel welcome. Starting with the bar staff they were great and always had smiles and friendly chat. Nicoletta was amazing. Always smiley with a Yamas with every drink. Always remembered who we were. Always made a conversation with everyone. Reception and the bell boy were smiles and friendly. We were lucky on this occasion to have room 519 which was sea view with a private pool. This room was amazing. Large terrace plus garden and a separate area for sunbeds which you can move if you want to. Loads of space. The restaurant was really well stocked for a buffet and plenty of something catering for all tastes. We particularly like the nice touch of plastic gloves to go to the buffet so you didn't touch anything. We made a visit to the A Labour Carte restaurant whilst there and have to say it was the best tasting food I have ever tasted. We tried to go back but couldn't get the time before we had to travel home. For those worried about Covid please don't worry here. Temperature checks with facial recognition. Loads of hand sanitizer all over the hotel. Distance measures everywhere. On arrival they gave us sanitized key cards masks hand gel slippers dressing gown etc. Even down to the tv remote being sanitized. Again makes you feel secure. Everyone we spoke to loved the place. I would be surprised if anything was wrong here and pretty sure if it was, just speak to receptionist and they sort it out for you. Very well run hotel thanks to its staff and recommended to everyone. We will certainly be going back at the first opportunity. Thanks to all your staff Atlantica Golden Beach! The Atlantic Golden Beach Hotel was superb . We have never been before and I took advise from Trip Advisor reviews and booked all inclusive. The staff were all really friendly .The drinks were free from 10 am to midnight and the lager was Carlsberg or Kia both really good. The local wines choices were of a high quality. As were the local spirits The food was varied at all meal times and of an extremely high quality,with lunch taken at the beach restaurant with superb views. Afternoon snacks could be a meal in themselves . The bar staff came around taking drinks orders regularly and were always smiling. The hotel room was cleaned every day and fresh towels The room we had was with a restricted sea view and was great for us .If you pay more you get a pool and sea view and balcony bathed in sunshine . The rooms are of a good size and plenty of cupboard space Excellent range if toiletries . There was always live music at night played by a local duo or jazz influenced piano player and singer. Really easy listening .On two nights there was a main act and we heard a magnificent opera singer .The inside bar had a great atmosphere and lovely staff and a big screen with football on in season.There were some day time activities like aqua aerobics ,quizzes and bingo lead by enthusiastic hotel staff . The pool is large and really clean . The gym is small but has enough equipment for a work out .The hotel is 20 minutes by bus from Paphos and only 1.5 euros each .The buses run every 15 minutes during the day.There are a few shops in a short walking distance but you really don’t need them. Plenty of sun beds and it’s own beach too. Great place to stay if you want adults only and a relaxing place to stay.

Where to start. On arrival at the hotel. You are greeted with a cool prosecco whilst you book in, the porter takes your bags to your room and you can relax, you have arrived. The rooms are clean and cold as they are are all with air con. Lovely private balcony that you can sit at late in the evening (its far too hot for that during the day.) There are far too many light switches by the bed, it wasn't until day 4 that we discovered the far right (furthest from the bed) turned the very helpful but too bright bathroom courtesy lights off. Adult only hotel so very relaxed at all times, the food was lovely and varied with so much choice every day and if you are all inclusive I recommend taking advantage of the Al La Carte option once (although the rose wine is a bit one eyed). No little critters as I think the cats and hotel/pool cleanliness keep them at bay so if you aren't a fan of creepy crawlies then this hotel is ideal. The beach is about a minutes walk down the stairs and incidentally it's where lunch is served. Couple of tips, take beach shoes, it's not sandy as we know it although it does exfoliate well but is a bit extreme, definitely take snorkeling stuff, there are fish to see less than 3 meters from the beach (particularly in the water to the right) but fortunately nothing that will do you any harm. Also take a towel and something to cover up for decency to enter the outdoor lunch restaurant, we did see a couple of thonged bronzed beauties get turned away which was a little embarrassing for them, men need a top on. Lovely experience all round, staff, entertainment, food, drinks, rooms and facilities all fantastic. The only warning and not about the hotel is choose your excusions carefully. We opted for the all day all inclusive cruise on wavedancer. This was recommended by our rep and sold as a beautiful relaxing experience with amazing swimming in beautiful bays. What a crock of rubbish, it was a booze cruise/party boat. You spend the day on the boat, with a bar that serves all drinks, music blaring the entire cruise from recorded to live entertainment, you can't hear yourself think because it's so loud. The swimming in beautiful bays wasn't as imagined (a secluded hard to get to by land kind of bay with turtles and stuff) nope, just anchored off a beach with zero visibility for snorkeling and lots of very drunk adults swimming. I would just like to point out that this is NOT a complaint about Wavedancer but the fact it was sold as something it was not and it was the most expensive cruise of all of them. I imagine the other cruises are very nice if that's more your sort of thing. Do have a look before you travel and book, it's no different in price as to doing it whilst you are there. All in all fab holiday and will get going back, to this hotel although I may give the booze cruise a miss next time having already experienced that one.

Having just arrived back from a 10 night staff, I would firstly say, how safe, clean and well organised the hotel was. The managers and staff were very polite and helpful. they all wore face mask, regardless if they were indoors or working outside. The same cant be said of some of the guess. when indoors, a few were not wearing masks in the corridors, or the lifts. However in the Dinning Rooms, the managers acted straight away if they saw someone without a mask. The Hotel provided gloves to wear when using the serving spoons. each table was washed down before being reset for use. The actual Hotel is a couple based hotel, which was brilliant not to have loads of kids running around. it is a small hotel compared to most along the coastline, but it has a better atmosphere. there were fast numbers of sunbeds around the pool area but also on the beach. You didn't have to get up at silly o'clock to reserve a bed. The only think that let the hotel down was in the evening. They did put on some evening entertainment, but the resident band were very amateurish at best and the singer could only sing in one key, very dull and you felt like ring up The Sarmatians, as it was so dreadful. Even the TUI reps were more like children entertainers that adult entertainers. We are not all over 100 years old and remember the old wars songs or from the 1950's & 1960's. .

Just returned from this hotel, in summary if you want a busy lively holiday with dancing around the pool during the day and disco at night, don’t book this hotel, if you want a quiet relaxed holiday with great staff, this could be the one you are looking for. To give some more details will break it down to Pros and Cons: Pros- Great staff especially Nicoleta in the Patio bar, who is exceptional,remember everybody’s name, room number and previous drinks order, have no idea how she does it, reception staff all very helpful, hotel is immaculate even the toilets by the beach, which is a good indication of overall cleanliness. Loads of sun beds no need to rush to save one, waiter service at all the sun beds area s including the beach. Great choice of food, the staff keep the buffet topped up right to close of service, some hotels if you go in at the end all the food has gone. Breakfast is exceptional. Omelette bar lady’s excellent. Drink service really good, day or night, never had to wait long before someone came to you to ask what you wanted, some people have moaned about the time they waited, but what else are you going to do, just chill out and look at the beautiful views, while the staff do all the work. Beach towels are just handed out from reception if you want to renew them, they are firstly put in your room on arrival, but you don’t need the fuss of a ticket to get any. Bottles of water offered all the time Local bus very easy to use and cheap. Cons: we enjoyed listening to the singers on the bar patio at night but can appreciate some people might want more. Alcoholic drinks vary in strength somewhat, local liqueurs were nice. Building work either side of the hotel, not pleasant to look at but no noise while we were there. You need beach shoes to go in the sea as it is pebbles and rocky, but worth the effort Certainly looking to return to this hotel in the future which is unusual for us.

Having viewed previous reviews, I am left slightly disappointed with our experience.
First the big issue, major construction work. There is major works on both sides of this hotel, work that starts at 7 AM each morning, including weekends. As the foundations are currently being drilled, I would expect this work to continue for the best part of the next two years, so it’s going to be noisy and dusty. I fully understand this is outside of the control of the hotel, but we did not receive any warning of this work from TUI.
The Hotel
Check in / out relatively straight forward with a very warm welcome, however, when questioning the noise the receptionist was very out of patience, unlike the Duty Manager Michael who was very apologetic.
The room was very clean and provided all up-to-date facilities expected of a 4 star hotel, the house keeping staff worked really hard to ensure rooms and in-door hotel areas were as clean as possible.
The main buffet restaurant, mainly good drinks service but food was very repetitive being virtually the same each evening. No sign of the themed evenings mentioned in previous reviews. The Olive & Thyme Ă la carte restaurant provided an excellent experience.
Bar service was good but there was clearly not enough staff to serve the number of guests visiting. Nicoletta, the lead waiter in the Lobby Bar, was an absolute delight and such a welcoming person, she is currently holding things together, service wise, for the hotel. The one night she was not there the service and atmosphere was nowhere near as pleasant.
Pool area was dirty with no visible signs of cleaning, The tiles around the pool are filthy and must be bordering on a health hazard.
Evening entertainment was not great but that did not impact on our holiday.
Many of the people staying while we were there were returning guests, some for year on year, lots commented that quality and service had dropped. The Hotel team are currently working hard to ensure people have a pleasant experience. The staff are clearly the greatest asset and are currently being let down by whoever is making decisions to cut corners/costs.
Such a shame for a Hotel that clearly built a fantastic reputation over previous years.

We have recently returned from this fantastic hotel, once again everything was perfect. From the moment you walk through the door you are treated to the best service possible. There’s always a friendly face to meet you as you arrive with a glass of bubbly and the most efficient, welcome and check in at reception. 

The reception team are so helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
The hotel is spotlessly clean with good COVID measures in place, it feels very safe.


We were lucky enough to enjoy a traditional festival at the hotel during our stay, it was amazing with food demonstrations, barbecue, local crafts and traditions such as Greek dancing and treading grapes into wine in the evening, it was a fantastic atmosphere all day. It was brilliant! 


The rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and always have a smiling face and a cheery hello as you pass in the corridors. All of the hotel facilities are kept spotlessly clean with hand sanitiser dispensers everywhere to ensure safety precautions are adhered to. 


The food is excellent with lots of variety and the staff in the restaurants are so friendly and helpful. Masks and gloves are required when walking around the restaurant and getting your food but once you’re sat down it’s just like normal. 


The bar service is excellent, both during the day and in an evening. A big thank you to all the bar staff for looking after us and keeping us topped up with drinks all day. Fantastic service. Nothing is too much trouble, but that also applies to all the staff at the hotel. There’s too many superstars to mention. They are all a credit to the hotel
. 

There’s always something going on to keep you entertained, with daytime activities and great shows in an evening. We had lots of fun and laughter with you all. All the Tui team work so hard and are always there to help if you have any issues or need help with forms etc. Well done Emma and her team. 

All in all it was a fantastic stay at a wonderful hotel. Roll on next year and seeing you all again.

We have recently returned from this wonderful hotel. The Staff and service are exceptional, from the moment you walk through the doors you are treated to five star service, with a glass of bubbly and the lovely George ensuring your luggage is safely delivered to the fabulous rooms. Michael, Anka and the rest of the excellent reception team are always there with a friendly smile to help if you have any queries. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and so comfortable, a real home from home. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and always have a cheery greeting and a smile on their faces. The food and service in the restaurant is exceptional, lots of variety and desserts to die for. You’re never spoilt for choice. A special mention to Avgerinos, Eirene, Marina and all the other staff for their excellent service. Have to mention the fantastic bar staff too, who work so hard all day and night, the lovely Nicolleta and Romana in the upstairs bar and Zenaida and Mohammed in the pool bar. Last but not least is the fantastic Entertainment team, Julia who works so hard ensuring you have the best time during her daytime activities. Her Aqua Aerobics sessions are such fun, she is a superstar. And Christina who caters for the clients who prefer a more relaxed activity, with Yoga, Pilates and Zen sessions. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel, set in a perfect location with stunning views, especially in the evenings, watching the sun going down, sipping a cocktail on the upstairs bar terrace. Will certainly be returning later in the year.

My wife and I have recently returned home from our first visit to Cyprus and an Atlantica Hotel. We stayed at the Atlantica Golden Beach Hotel, which immediately made us feel welcome and safe. This was our first holiday in two years and our apprehension was soon behind us.
Before travelling we had requested a high floor with sunset views. We were delighted with our room (314) on the 3rd floor with great sea and sunset views. A large Super Kingsize Bed and plenty of space. The nice sized balcony provides a space to dry any washing, great coastal views and sunset views.
The buffet restaurant where breakfast and evening meals are provided is spacious, clean and has an amazing range of hot and cold dishes to offer. Masks and gloves were worn by staff at all times, helping convey the Covid safety element. Most guests wore their masks and gloves, with the odd one forgetting to put them on.
We were very impressed with Antonia who’s work rate was exceptional, clearing tables, sanitising each table after use before setting it again for the next guests.
The lunch time restaurant and buffet were also very good with some great views depending on where you sat. The food choice was also very good.
Eating in the Ala-Carte was a great experience and the service we received from Mihai & Stefania was exceptional. The food menu was very good, the food great and there was a very nice selection of wines on offer at a reasonable rate. We enjoyed our one free visit so much we booked in for another evening.
We enjoyed pre dinner drinks and after dinner coffee and drinks in the Lounge Bar where we have to mention Helen the barmaid and Nicoleta the waitress. Both were friendly and professional. Nicoleta has an infectious laugh and never stopped rushing about serving guests.
We spent a lot of time around the pool relaxing and swimming, with the odd dip in the sea. We were impressed with the cold face towel and ice cream delivery in the afternoons. Special mention to Zenaida and Adrian who helped keep everyone hydrated.
The TUI team laid on a daytime entertainment programme along with the odd evening show they put on. Very friendly & professional. Sebastian booked us a great boat trip from Paphos Harbour and Emma was a great help explaining how to complete the forms we needed before flying home.
A short distance from the hotel was the start of a Coastal Walk, which takes in some breathtaking views and helps you walk off some of the excess calories you will struggle not to eat.
We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked to return next year. It is a great pity we did not know about their loyalty scheme until we returned home.
