I now live at Hooke Farm. It's no longer a B&B. Apologies... There is another B&B in Hooke that might be worth trying. Friends stayed there and they were happy. Or try the pub in Powerstock - The Three Horseshoes. The food is excellent but I haven't tried the rooms.

My husband and I stayed at Hooke Farm for a weekend and found everything to be wonderful and to a really high standard. Our room looked the way it was illustrated on the website but it was much bigger than we assumes. It was very spacious, decorated with perfectionist attention to detail and considering that we payed £75 per night...

We were very well looked after by Richard and Lucy who were so helpful and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and clean and we were able to relax in a lovely long bath after a fabulous day walking the local hills. Richard and Lucy provided a scrumptious breakfast and packed lunches and gave good advise about local restaurants. They...

Sadly we only stayed at Hooke Farm for one night but we had a lovely experience there - very warm welcome with tea and biscuits in the beautiful lounge, having been greeted by Lucy and four gorgeous dogs! Our room was just right, very clean and spacious, lovely ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious - Richard and Lucy took the trouble...

My sister and I stayed at Hooke farm over the august bank holiday. We had asked for a family room as we did not want to share a bed and were told there was a single bed in the room, which was just a very small put -up bed, not suitable for an adult. The first time we met our...

We decided to end a weeks honeymoon in Padstow with a stay in Dorset visiting friends in Beaminster. Hooke Farm was a fantastic B&B with a warm and friendly welcome, lovely room and great breakfast - You couldn't ask for more and was great value for money. Will be recommending to friends!

We decided last minute to make a trip down to Dorset for one night during the August long weekend and as such thought it might be hard to find accomodation. On the off chance on the Thursday beforehand, I sent off some emails enquiring as to vacancies at different hotels/b&bs in the area and was delighted to receive a prompt...

A real find - secluded and slightly off the beaten track, we were made to feel extremely welcome the moment we walked through the door. A cold glass of white wine upon arrival went down a treat! The farmhouse is beautifully decorated - cosy, warm and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, with great views. Richard and Lucy are consumate, friendly...

So pleased we found this delightful and friendly farmhouse b&b in Dorset. The area around Beaminster is a lovely part of the country to visit, and it was great to have such a welcoming and comfortable place to spend two nights. Beautifully furnished, blissfully quiet and we would recommend it without reservation. We certainly hope to stay at Hooke Farm...

We spend two nights at Hooke Farm with our 7 year old daughter and thoroughly enjoyed it. It felt very homely and welcoming. Our room was spotless and very comfortable and Lucy's home cooking was really appreciated, especially after a lengthy drive to get there. Our hosts were extremely attentive and were always on hand to provide information on where...
