We had our Sunday lunch here and the views from the back of the pub looking over the dale are amazing. The boys enjoyed playing on the patio area. The lunch was great also. Very generous portions and all cooked to perfection.

I was taken out for lunch as a birthday treat. Warm welcome to the lovely cosy bar. Ate in the back with the most fantastic views that never fail to impress. Decor perfect. Food amazing. Presentation and quality superb. Andrew is a 'Master Chef'. Service was fantastic. Faultless all round. Thanks again for a lovely dining experience.

This visit was a stop-off in the Dales on the way somewhere else, but is now the place to anchor our next Yorkshire visit. The front of the building is old, traditional country pub but the room in which we stayed was modern, spacious, very well decorated and equipped. We ate in the pub by a real fire that evening,...

This was no problem at all and they immediately prepared the table in the bar for us. The service throughout the evening was fantastic and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The food...

2nd visit here. Bar area is old and traditional which makes it lovely and cozy with a open fire to warm you up in the winter. Had food here both times. Both times had steak from the extensive menu with plenty to choose from for everybody. Best steals we've ever had. Beautifully presented and couldn't say anything bad about the...
