As we were in the area to visit friends in Bideford, we knew that we wouldn't be in the house much, so I booked a room without a sea view. We had room 4, and found it to be very comfortable, with tea making facilities, and absolutely...

We have just returned from a two night stay at Culloden House, and left with lovely memories of a clean and spacious room and fantastic hosts, Marcelline & Mark. They could not have been more friendly and accommodating and served a delicious full English each morning, as well as personally delivering a toy box to our room for our young...

Walking into Culloden House is a stunning experience. It is gorgeous! And the dining room is spectacular. My room, a single, was small, but very comfortable, and the amenities were appreciated. I imagine that breakfast would have been outstanding, but I left before the serving hour, so only had cereal. I am withholding one star because something felt just a...

Culloden House has style and a pleasant atmosphere, and, over the roofs down below, good views of the sea, not only from your room but also when at breakfast. Not least, Culloden House has very pleasant hosts. What more could we add?

Our one night stay was absolutely faultless and I wish we could have stayed longer. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable and hosts most welcoming. The room had plenty of tea and coffee (unlike most chain hotels) and the availability of fresh milk was a really nice touch. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and served in a dining...
