Just home from a totally relaxing week at Le Mouneu. Easy to find (we drove from Bordeaux in 2.5 hours) Excellent accommodation. Spacious and clean. Lovely pool with decking and sun loungers.Lots of space in surrounding garden Great weather too. Decking outside gite ideal for long leisurely meals and bbq's Kate and John very friendly and helpful. We would return....

We had an awesome time here. We travelled as three families of four and there was easily enough room for us all. It was clean, tidy and Kate was happy to help with any local advice or help. Lovely sized swimming pool and the weather was perfect. Very hard to fault, but perhaps if there was a fan in the...

We are just back from a wonderful week at Le Mouneu house. This 18th century house has just been renovated to very high standards whilst keeping the originals features. Beautiful garden overlooking the hills, refreshing swimming pool and very welcoming hosts. A big thank you to John and Kate !

About La Grange (at Le Mouneu).Self Catering Converted Barn with Pool in South West France. The main farmhouse was built in the 1700's and has been renovated, formally believed to have been a vineyard and located in a tranquil village setting. The property has a large walled vegetable plot (maintained by the owner) and was once a vineyard, vines are still much in evidence and the large wine press still present.La Grange is the original barn that has been converted into a 5 bedroom, spacious, sociable Gite retaining its original riverbed stone walling showing the evolution of the building. The swimming pool is 12x6m and a fantastic place to chill out or play.There are large garden area with swings, badminton, football nets and ping pong, not to mention the countless fruit tress, including, cherry, nectarine, plum, peach, apple and pomegranate also walnut, oak, Indian bean trees to name some of the many varieties found on the grounds. ... more   less
