Stayed for work - Nice room, adequate space. Bathroom functional as you would expect. Breakfast excellent, pretty dining room and bar area. Friendly helpful staff, especially Matt who helped me with directions to the local places to eat and watch football. Would stay again, great value for money.

This is a very pleasant country house hotel, close to many places worth visiting. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our deluxe room was huge and beautifully furnished. The bathroom itself was as big as most hotel rooms! The food and service was excellent. The hotel is in a very peaceful setting.

We booked in for lunch on a weekday and everything was fabulous. Always a warm welcome from Sharon and her team. I wish we lived nearer so that we could visit more often. Rosie served us and she was really personable, laughing and joking with my Dad. The lunch menu is very good value for money. Lots of food and...

We stayed in a large room that was nicely appointed. It did smell of damp and the bathroom appeared to be in a strange box with no ventilation. The hotel was cold and service was lacking. Breakfast ok. It was a nice area but the hotel is in desperate need of some modernising.

My Fiance and I visited for two nights (Friday & Saturday) with our dog. Due to our circumstances, we arrived at breakfast time on the Friday and asked if we could leave our baggage and return later to check in. Very generously, we were given access to the room straight away and then invited to sit down for breakfast before...
