Went for a family birthday meal, the food was really nice, great portion sizes and value for money. All the staff were really friendly and the barman/ waiter went above and beyond by helping with our rum selection... Will defiantly be going back!!!

Stay here when visiting family and have always found the staff to be efficient and friendly. Not the cheapest place around but location is perfect for us. Tend to stay mainly on a Saturday evening when there is music until late but always ask for Room No.2 which is quieter.

We came here for a night on a weekend. The room was spacious, clean and lovely decorated. We had some lunch in the bar that was extremely tasty and all staff were very polite and bubbly. The bed was very comfy and the tv was a good size. The tea tray was filled to the brim (always a plus for...

We reserved for a group reservation for our Christmas party. My waitress (carol) got all bent out of shape because one of my group didn't claim a drink they had apparently ordered. Myself and some of my group heard her mutter "for gods sake" which was extremely rude and aggressive. From then on she would slam our food/drinks down and...

Staying three nights at this Hotel on business in Essex, the staff were very friendly and very helpful, being taken to my room, explaining all what is available including early checkout i.e. leaving the key in a black box etc… The room was good and serviced efficiently, one thing can be improved is sound proofing i.e. road noise and next...

Stayed here for the night prior to our grandson's birthday party. The room was clean and spacious with a huge corner bath to relax in. Plenty of tea/coffee/chocolate sachets etc so no complaints at all. Staff are very helpful especially Estelle.
