Used the gym facilities on my 10 day stay in Koh Samui. The equipment was second to none, brand new. Ticked all the boxes for what I needed. Also fitted with air conditioning, water and music machines and toilets. Gym is in the middle of a well maintained garden which makes for a great place to be.
Like other guests have mentioned, Chai Talay Estate is even better than the photographs. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly Rose the villa manager who also gave us her personal number for when we were exploring Koh Samui incase we had any questions or needed any help! The villa staff can arrange almost anything for you, paddle boarding, elephant sanctuary tours, market visits, restaurant booking, boat and bicycle hire which is incredibly helpful! we stayed here with three couples and the space was perfect! Pool has an absolutely stunning view and the place was clean and well kept. Check in was easy and communication before hand with the villa management was great. Perfect location as is a short distance away from the local town but close enough if you want to head in for an evening. Lots of restaurants near by as well. Would highly recommend and plan on coming back!…
I had the pleasure of spending ten days at the Chai Talay Estate in June of 2019 for a social entrepreneurship bootcamp. We were there with a group of 24, taking up all three villas. The setting is spectacular, the accommodations are extremely well appointed and luxurious, the amenities are great. Most of all I have to say the staff are truly amazing! Rose is an amazing manager, always making sure everything was running smoothly and that we had all we needed... and then some. We ate all the time! They went to the market each morning and prepared the meals from fresh ingredients. We always had fresh fruit and other delights at every break. The rest of the staff was incredibly nice and hospitable. They learned our names, and were always happy to help. One small warning: bring water shoes if you plan to swim at the beach. The water is very shallow and after a stretch of sandy bottom there is an area with low coral/rock formations that has a lot of sea urchins - not something you want to step on. I hope some day to go back with my wife and kids!…
This is my third visit to Baal Kilee and it is amazing as always! The villa is gorgeous and always kept up to an amazing standard. It is decorated beautifully and has lots of smaller villas so you can have your own privacy which is great. The pool area is so lovely and while your sat there the staff are so attentive always offering drinks and checking you are okay. Pooh, Rose and the rest of the staff at Baan Kilee are so lovely and always happy to help with anything you need. They come and discuss the food you want to choose for that day or they pick for you which is good so you can try different things. The food is outstanding and we were never disappointed! One night the chef cooked in the main kitchen so we could see the process and we got involved which was so much fun. They get the food every morning so it’s always so fresh and Rose now has a vegetable patch behind the villa so often you have fresh veg from their! Her sweetcorns are amazing! There was loads to do as well! Would definitely reccomend the elephant sanctuary, a trip to the fisherman’s village, get a massage, a round of golf, fishing trips, take the paddle boards or kayaks out and a night out in chawing! All of which can be organised by the staff We had the best stay here and I can’t wait to come back again! Thank you so much for the most wonderful stay!…
Had the most amazing stay at Baan Kilee. The most beautiful villa looking out over the ocean. We spent 10 days here and will definitely be back! The staff are so lovely and they couldn’t do anything more for us! The food was incredible bought and made freshly every day. Sometimes we chose our own menu but most of the time we just went with the staffs recommendations it was so good. One day the chef gave us a cooking lesson and showed us how to make some of our favourite dishes. We had lovely cocktails and freshly made smoothies each day too. Some evenings we had dinner on the beach next to the water, or on the sun deck overlooking the water. We used the on site new gym every day and had some great personal training sessions and massages during our stay. We also made sure we wandered down to some local bars and restaurants which were all fantastic. A great place for families, couples and friends, couldn’t recommend it more!…
We were a family of 20, including half adults and half kids ranging from 3 to 15 yrs. The 8 rooms were perfect, with an amazing infinity pool and beach, were we pretty much stayed all of 5 days we were there to celebrate a birthday. The hostesses Pooh and Rose and their team looked after us most graciously and meals were high standard restaurant level (and great value). This was in our opinion as close as gets to paradise on earth!
If you like luxury and rest in a calm and quiet area Baan Kilee is the perfect place to go. The villa is well maintained, cooling system in the room is quiet witch is very important to us. We were only a small familly group of 5 and the villa is large and confortable. The staff is very professional and Kind. We had 2 Villa Managers during our stay ( almost 2 weeks) and they were both great. Miss Rose was particularly attentive with our 6 years old son. Her Daughter "TengMo" (not sure of the Spelling) was so Kind and played a lot with our son. The Villa Chief cooked very good dishes evry days. It was a perfect holidays and i think that We should not encourage others people to come here because, Baan Kilee will be completly overbooked... ;-)
We booked Baan Kilee and the neighboring Baan Ora Chon and Baan Puri for my husband's 40th birthday. We had 40 guests total, and yet, everything went perfectly. The staff were phenomenal, as were the villas, the food, the beach - everything! The off-site coordinators, Peter and Maggie, were also tremendously helpful and on top of everything in the months and weeks leading up to the party. Can't recommend this place enough.
We attended a family wedding with family and friends from all continents! The team an Baan Kilee made it perfect. Apart from the wedding meals they arranged all meals, each was excellent and made with love. Khun Rose excelled in managing her team in an exemplary manner ensuring all generations experienced this precious event and the days prior and post perfectly. Facilities are superb and my only recommendation would be some upgrades to some (not all) of the soft furnishings. The adjacent villa was rented by members of the wedding party as well and made for easy commutes! Thanks team Baan Kilee
We spent as a family 10 days here in April and I can honestly say it was an absolutely perfect stay. We hired the whole of baan kilee for our family who were meeting up from the uk and Australia. If you are debating going here then debate no more .... book book book! You won't regret it! The villas were beautiful decorated, immaculately clean and wonderfully maintained. The layout of the villas are perfect for families with small children as 3 rooms have second sleeping areas enabling adult private sleeping while your children are in the room. The facilities at the villa were amazing, the swimming pools are beautiful and excellent for children and adults. The children's pool is built into the adult pool and out 2yr old and 4yr old loved it. The pools temperature is perfect and the sun beds in the pool were wonderful. The beach was wonderfully clean with soft sand and shallow waters. Was lovely and safe for the children. With the beach being private we had no concerns with safety at all. I think we saw about 10 other people the whole stay on the beach! A couple of days the waters had a stronger current but not unsafe during our stay. We enjoyed the long boarding and kayaks provided. On a couple of damper days we were still entertained with a Ping Pong table set up indoors, a brilliant TV room and Spa treatments set up by the villa. Pooh and Rose who manage the villa were simply amazing. They managed our every need such as organising our daily meal menu, sorting out excursion such as elephant riding and motor boat hire ( which is a must do!) and continually filling your glass with cocktails! They were also absolutely amazing at supporting you with your families needs. They knew quickly what my children would eat and would simply provide dinners and snacks exactly when they needed them without me needing to ask! As a mums that is providing true relaxation! They also helped play with the children while we ate which again was a huge thing for me! And they kids loved them. Daily pooh would discuss our meals for the following day and the chef would go out buy fresh foods daily. The chef was absolutely amazing!! The quality of the food was mind blowing! The food was a massive highlight each day and plenty of it! The dining set up was either on the grass by the beach which was just stunning or in the dining room which has two open sides in the centre of the villa complex. Both were beautifully set up and true fine dining. The staff in and around the villa all did an amazing job of looking after you and the villa to the highest quality without you even feeling like they were about! Perfect experience. Don't think twice about booking baan kilee. It's paradise! …
