The welcome cannot be faulted; it is positively dynamic. There is no car park so you have to get a token or find a place in one of the adjacent streets. Do not underestimate the importance of this area historically. The Romans had a very important presence here and it is reflected in the museum, the barracks, in fact the... More

I can only echo what the other reviews have said - it's a great place to stay and you won't be disappointed. It's important to remember, I think, that a B & B is someone's home - so distinctly different to a hotel. What it means is that it becomes your home for the stay too, and this is exactly... More

We were given a fantastic welcome even though we arrived very late. Breakfast started at 7.30am, we were leaving at 6.30am, Kath was happy to cook us a full breakfast at that early time. The beds, quilts and pillows were the comfiest we have ever slept in! Thank you for a lovely stay, it was very short but oh so... More

We found this great B&B last year, and had to return when we visited England and Wales this year. We were greeted at the door with a sincerely warm "Welcome Home"! How nice is that? We happily got the same room, which looks to the street, but is rarely noisy. As we extended our visit to Caerleon for two days,... More

Wow, this is probably the best B and B we've ever stayed in! Service was fantastic, the 2 owners Kathryn and Peter were so friendly! The rooms were lovely, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was a delight, and you can pre-order the night before so as to ensure you're not disappointed! Would return in a heartbeat if we ever went back... More

The email confirmation promised a warm Welsh welcome and the hosts definitely delivered on that. Kath and Pete were so happy and chatty. We stayed in the Victorian room and found it just luxurious. Breakfast was delicious, good wi-fi, handy to all places of interest, parking arrangement with nearby business, top rating on tripadvisor is evidently well deserved. Caerleon is... More

Just back from a family wedding in south Wales, where we were lucky enough to stay at the historic Pendragon House B&B. We usually stay somewhere like the Holiday Inn or Hilton, but these were fully booked due to the rugby international at Cardiff, and a friend recommended Pendragon. Fortunately the owners, Kath and Pete, had just had a cancellation.... More

I stayed with my friend at the Pendragon B&B, on our quick trip to Wales. We were warmly welcomed by Kath and Pete in to their beautiful house, with nicely renovated rooms, super comfortable sheets and filling breakfast. Thanks to this relaxing place, I was able to experience Wales, learn some history, see a comedy show, go clubbing in London... More

My partner and I were fortunate to stay with Pete & Kath at their lovely B&B in Caerleon, which is a fascinating, extremely historic small town on the banks of the River Usk near the much larger town of Newport. The bedrooms were beautifully appointed, very comfortable and cozy, whilst having plenty of room for two people. The breakfasts were... More
