The room was lovely and big. The bed was very comfortable and the bath in the bedroom was a nice touch. The first night was a bit noisy due to customers sitting on the front of the pub smoking and talking until the early hours. The breakfast was nice but different dependant on which staff were working. Some days we...

Stayed in the wonderful loft room with a roll top bath, had a delicious meal in the restaurant and a great homemade breakfast. Staff were very friendly. Handy car park round the back. Couldn't fault a thing.

What a fantastic find! I can't speak highly enough of The Swan. My husband and I visited as part of our honeymoon trip and from start to finish, it was a great experience. The staff were lovely - very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable and huge, given the price. The food was delicious and prompt...

Stopping off after a walk around Cheddar Gorge and on a trip further south we overnighted at The Swan. The staff were absolutely outstanding, very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. The ambience in the bar was very welcoming and the restaurant food top notch. A brilliant break which curried great favour with 'she who must be obeyed!' Our...

We live in the village and went for a lunchtime birthday celebration as evenings are usually much busier. Although a 'winter warmer' menu was available (a drink and a main course) we went for the a la carte menu. The starters were Cornish crab on toast and pigs cheek croquettes - very nice. the mains were pheasant and ham hock...

We really enjoyed our stay here and it's such a good price for a huge room including breakfast. The pub itself is lovely with great food and atmosphere. The rooms remain quiet and very comfy. The things that could have been better is that the showergel and shampoo were empty, it was quite dusty in the room, and the bath...

Situated in a picturesque village. Friendly, and efficient staff, excellent kitchen, Comfy bed, clean, and well-appointed rooms. My wife and I in our 70,s however, found the Victorian style bath in room 6 difficult to exit due to a lack of handles.

Well located accommodation in a quintessential English village ideally located for RSPB at Ham Wall for the wonderful starling murmurations, as well as Wells and Glastonbury. The Swan offers something different from your average hotel, just a little quirky with bath in the bedroom, though we had en suite shower room as well. The food is excellent, imaginative, well sourced...
