An overnight stay for a function at the nearby golf club. A compact room (one of three) due to a late booking but warm, comfortable and cosy nonetheless. An excellent breakfast in a room steeped in historic interest. All this and artwork to view or purchase to boot.

16th-Century Nut Tree Farm is a peaceful retreat, with walls several feet thick. Whether it's the age of the building or our host Melvin's personal meditations and his stone circle, the whole place feels especially relaxing and calming. Our suite upstairs had a lovely wide double bed and two armchairs, a hospitality tray with a jug of filtered water, a...

Just had a lovely weekend staying at Nut Tree Farm, Anne and Melvyn are extremely warm and welcoming, going above and beyond whats expected of a B&B. Rooms are very sympathetic to the age of the property and are very comfortable and immaculately clean. Set in a very peaceful location, with natural beautiful gardens its the perfect place to 'de-city'....

The en-suite had a fantastic shower and heated towel rail. The whole place is spotlessly clean, with beautiful elm floorboards upstairs. A generous welcome tray is provided with a...

Just got back from another wonderful stay with Anne and Melvyn - such a peaceful place, breakfasts fantastic and a real home away from home. This is a fantastic part of Somerset, with a really gentle feel. Lots of wildlife and on this visit, lots of starlings on the trip back from Glastonbury. I will be going again and again.
